Pain. Confusion. Everything flashed into that one speechless moment. She laid down in front of me with her hands on her stomach, clutching the top tight as if it could stop bleeding while I was on my knees, trying to configure what I had just done. Never in a million years did I think this would ever happen but life always seemed to have other plans for me, making me break my previous solemn promises. She stared at me back unbelievably, trying to grasp for air. Her silky golden hair sticky with blood. It was not the way she imagined her death to be, especially from my hands.

She clutched my hand trying to find the words of anger, forgiveness or maybe a few words of regrets or expectations but ended up slipping something into my hands. Five pairs of eyes looked in this direction watching the tragedy but I didn't care but still tears began to multiply  and roll down my dry cheek. It hurt. And hurt. For the first time, I felt helpless. I wanted to get her back but she was gone beyond repair the moment. And all because of a stupid misunderstanding. It was all my fault and I wished I could do something but the guilt had reached it's zenith the moment the last breath left her body and her eyes drooped off.
