But eventually the other days, she comes back to normal. God, I missed the fun-loving and wild Kristen and when she fell in the depression, I thought her true nature was lost forever.
Things had changed since the time she was in the house. Things had gone from mysterious to fun. She had our world turned upside down. Before, silence was what we were thirsting for but now that ceased to exist and we are loving every moment of it.
First it wasn’t hard to be a sullen vampire but now it wasn’t hard to pretend to be a human either. She had all of us trained unknowingly. She was our changing world. Personally, Zac’s and my changing world.

Lately she is so into games and pranks and Walt is glad to have a partner as his restrictions of him playing pranks on her still stood by. She also made Ash go into ‘Kids R Us’ and buy all the famous games for her. (Ash couldn’t live through the humility as the media came up with a new rumour that his unknown girl friend is expecting his child. When he saw the news, you should have seen the huge frown on his face and we all burst out laughing. )
Everyday, it was one thing or the other and the best part of it is her smile and her unexplainable joy.

Every time we sit to play, (only because she insists every time, pulling us out of our concentration of work.) she would always insist on sitting between Zac and I. So she could cheat every time. I manage to understand her technique but Zac still doesn’t get it how she wins.
Technically I think she sits beside me so that she can keep punching me on the shoulder, to distract me from winning.

Anyways one day, she played a prank on me. All eggs squashed on my head. I washed my hair immediately and chased her, running in human speed.
She used an advantage against me by going in to Ash’s room. Ash was still angry with us for messing up his kitchen and supposedly he was angry with ‘Sexy’ because of the rumour. But that didn’t seem to affect her. She still went in and I couldn’t. I stayed out for a few minutes and then gave up. ‘Gonna catch you later’ I sent the mental message to her. A playful angry wave.

KRISTEN’S POV

I dashed into Ash’s room, knowing that Chris wasn’t allowed to enter and thankfully I wasn’t under that rule. The moment I entered, I shut the door and pressed my back against it, panting. And I look around. A room with a mixture of two colours. An amazing mixture of blue and green. A sense of calmness filled in the room. A huge stand which contained all the chick- flick movies like the Notebook and Titanic plus the Tragic love novels he had gathered through his living time stood there patiently complimented with a huge box of tissue. Photos of various cars hung on his walls.

I see him on the bed, leaning on the wall, his legs bridged engrossed in flipping through the book. He had the bored look plastered on his face. “Hi!” I say. He seemed to be shocked by my presence. He sat up to fold his legs.
“Hey! What are you doing here?” He asked, a presence of confusion. “I’m sorry for disturbing but I just escaped from Chris’s chase.” I reply to his question. “Oh!” “You can go back to… whatever you were doing. I’ll just stay here for a while.” He nods and goes back to his book and I go get a better look of his room.

“So what is your story?” I ask curiously as I come up to his side table which revealed a cut black and white sketch of a young and beautiful girl and a lock of black, silky hair.
He looks up. “Huh?” “Your story of turning. Yours is the only one I don’t really know.” I admitted. His brow raised. Seriously? The question radiated out. “Hey, they weren’t ready to tell me, ok.” I jumped to my defence.

ASH'S STORY

"I was born in a small village which is now called Holmes Chapel in Cheshire. I was a famous baker's son who was known for his bread. Being helpful to people was my second nature. Things would turn out nice if I could help people with their common problems like picking up a bucket to draw water from the well. For these simple things I was well known for. People knew who to turn to and trust was easily earned.
One day when I turned 19, a girl came to me for help and I could not say no. It was built in my nature, as you know. That was when I knew my time was up. I fell sick just the next day. Coughing, high fever, purging and all the other common symptoms and the following day I was fine. and that was my daily routine.
Within some time, I also started to hallucinate about ghosts flashing by my eyes and angels glowing all around. I thought my end was near. My condition grew worse by the day. And there was nothing anybody could do about it.
Soon after an epidemic started, a disease came untold. People were dying and I was still suffering. They forgot everything I did and started blaming me for their welfare even though I didn't do anything.
Rumour spread that I woke up every night to prey on the innocent and deliver the worst. They kept their doors shut but it did not stop. The only way to  finish this was to kill me and the judgement was final. I was to be killed on 12 July. They tied me up for one week and that made my sickness worse and I kept getting those flashes of the same girl who kept pleading me to drink.
It was pure hallucination I believed until the time I was tied, right in the middle of the village. She came one more time and gave me a small bowl which contained a dark red liquid. Not knowing what it was, I  gulped it as she tilted it. Only then I realised that it was blood. But I didn't care. All I had to do was escape and she helped me.
The villagers realised it was too late when I escaped. She took me somewhere safe and killed me. Before I could die, she compelled me to find Zac and give him a message. But she died before she could complete the message. When I woke up from my new life, I understood everything and the girl who laid in front of me who was now dead, was wounded by a werewolf bite. Since then I was in search for Zac and I found him after 204 years."

He looked at me as he bit his lip. I was sitting in front of him, with the picture in my hand. It wasn't exactly proper but a rough sketch. I looked at it.
"What was her name?" I asked softly. "Rhiza..." he replied in the same tone, not willing to look at him. "I'm sorry. I really didn't know." I apologised.
"It's ok. You were just curious." He tried to smile. Looks like he needed a hug which I readily gave. "Thanks, Sexy!" He murmured as he buried his face in my hair.

Some body cleared there throat. OMG. This is a very small house indeed. I looked back as Ash pulled away.
"One romantic moment, don't you think?" Chris was teasing me. I frowned. "Why are you following me?" I say as I pushed him by the shoulder and left the room.
