I step outside my room to go down the living room and make my entrance, walking as slowly and elegantly as a lady should be. When I reach at the top of the stairs to make a dramatic pause and also judge the type of crowd, I felt all eyes on me and could actually feel the volume of the music lower.

I gulped hard and tried to give a soft smile as I made my way down. I had noticed that the majority of the crowd had the pale skin tone and had their fangs out. I am surprised that I could even make this much put under the mad disco lights wavering about. Yup, the party were as crazy as frat parties. I felt like I was a reliving high school again. Just adding the vampires here.

There were few people drunk-dancing while the others were chatting as if it has been along time since they have met each other and needed to catch up with the time they have lost.

Suddenly I see Zac emerges from the crowd to walk towards me and his eyes were solely concentrated on me. He was in a loose black shirt where the sleeves had been tightly folded till his elbows and black skinny denims hanging lowly on his waist. He looked really good. But instead of having that intense stare where he can't take his eyes of me, he has the worried look. I wonder what must've happened?

The moment he reached, he wrapped his arms around my waist and then dragged his eyes from the tips of my toes to the curls of my hair. He let a sigh escape. "Angel, what are you wearing?" I look back innocently, a little hurt that he might not like what I was wearing. "Ummm, a dress?" "I can see that. But you haven't paid any heed to the letter. " Oh! "Well, I could have taken your note under consideration if only I knew this was a vampire frat party..." I tell him innocently, blaming it all on him. Well, he does know me well enough to know that I won't listen to anything until I had sufficient reasons to actually listen.

Another sigh escaped from his lips and then he turned and walked me down the stairs, his arm still around my waist. "Now you have to stay close to one of us. I can't afford you to get hurt." He breathed in in my ear and despite the loud music, I could hear his words as well as feel his warm intense breath on my neck.

He guided me onto the floor, his arm refusing to leave my waist and I could feel the intense hungry eyes on me as we passed. Damn, I should have known that there were going to be vampires.

I turned to Zac. "Ummm... "Can I go get a drink?" He smiled softly and nodded. "Yes, go ahead... Chris will see you there..." I nodded and made my way to the kitchen. There were a lot of vampires feeding on lovely as well as slutty girls. Arggh!!! Please tell me that this was not going to happen again. Especially to me.

I gulped as I walked in. I knew that heads were gonna turn to me direction the moment I come in. Sadly, I was right... "Love, you look amazing!" I turned to the voice, to see Chris coming to me with a smile. Like nothing had happened before. Like he wasn't even trying to ignore me.

"Thanks!" I mouth as he pulls me into a hug. I return the favor. "Though you shouldn't have worn it tonight. The risk is really high." He whispered and then left me. "I know... Just that Zac forgot to mention the risk." I admitted. "So what are you doing here?" He asked plainly, sitting on the counter as I opened the door of the fridge to rummage through. "Just looking for a drink..." And that was when I spotted my drink.

Or should I saw, three drinks... This is where the mind reading actually worked. Ash has finally learnt a good use of his talent. Three glasses of cranberry cocktails. With a slice of lemon on the rim and a pink swirly straw. Just what I wanted and needed.

I picked up one glass and shut the door. And looked at him. "Is there a waitress in the house?" I asked him. "No, but why do you ask?" "Alot of humans used as walking talking blood bags and not even one waitress ...Now I am disappointed." I pout as I take a huge gulp out of my glass.

"But why do you need a waitress?" " If I had to survive a party filled with vampires, I need these to keep coming..." I pointed out and took another swig. He rolled his eyes and sighed heavily. "Ok, I will arrange some one for you..." "That's my boy!!!" I giggle and muss up his hair to skip my way out.

Well, it was getting quite freaky in there. Actually it was hard to get through a normal conversation in a room full of vampires who are feeding on humans. Cause I was feeling a little icky and a little out of place. But I should feel lucky that I am the only human who isn't going to be picked on. But if I had to sit through this party then I need a lot of alcohol.

Chris kept following me even through the crowd. "So cranberry juice?" He asked confused with the choice of drink in my hand. "Yup, I love cranberries and also it doesn't leave me standing out." I beamed happily. I just kept taking sips. And pulled him along with him.

And on to the dance floor. "Come dance with me." I yelled and let my body sway to the beat that matched the thumping of my heart. "Ummm... Love? I would love to dance.... But I got some work to do. Dance with Ash and Walt if you want..." He yelled back. Ooh, he wants to go to Nicole. Maybe something is going to happen tonight. Something sexual. Ha ha ha... With such crazy thoughts, I just gave a goofy grin and let my head bob to the music.

Just as he disappeared, Ash and Dylan come, jumping to the beat. "Hey guys!" I yell and the two dance with me. And then I noticed something. All the human girls here were drunk and dancing. And only Ash, Walt and I the exceptions. Well, they were enjoying themselves but the blood had been seeping from some where. Each of them had puncture marks. No vampire was dancing except for these two fools. The vampires were busy either fraternizing with the other or catching up for old times sake. Seems like a party after all.

Suddenly a girl comes in with a glass of my cranberry cocktail. "Mine!" I growled and snatched the glass from her hand. Ash seeing this, chuckled. "You actually liked it so much?" I nodded happily as I take a bottoms up. I mean I had to admit I was a bit tipsy. And I liked the feeling of it. I felt light and like I was floating.

I continued dancing happily, jumping up and down and shouting random lyrics in the air. Not that any one was going to shut their ears from my terrible voice. Plus all I knew that I was dancing with my friends and everything was too bright and dancing around me as well as blur. And only I seemed to be stable. But I didn't care. I still wanted to dance.

And then I get the urge of going to bathroom. Man, that always ruins my day. Especially in a party. But this time I knew I had to go but I wasn't sure why I wanted to go. But I might as well go.

"Excuse me! I need to use the wash room..." I yell. If the music had stopped for that second then I bet every face in the hall would have turned to me direction and my face would be pink in embarrassment. But as it is everyone was too busy enjoying themselves. Ash nodded, understanding what I had to say while Walt completely ignored me.

And that was when I left them to make my way to the washroom.
