It was Christmas Eve finally, Benedict and Alexandria had woken up that morning so excited that they had gotten dressed early. Their carriage did not leave for another couple hours, well into the noon. Alexandria had woken up with her stomach churning and sick threatening to come up.

"Are you okay?" Benedict asked as he took in Alexandria's rather pale appearance and a sheen of sweat on her forehead. "Hold that thought." Alexandria said feeling her mouth fill with water, a telltale sign she was about to throw up. Alexandria rushed to the chamber pot and emptied the contents of her stomach, not that there was much to come up anyway.

Benedict followed after her, holding back her hair so it wouldn't fall into the pot. "Oh, my love." Benedict said softly as he rubbed Alexandria's back in soothing circles. "I must have came down with an illness or something." Alexandria groaned as she stood up, confident that she wasn't going to be sick anymore.

"Maybe. We do not have to go down to Kent if you are not feeling well, I will send word to mother." Benedict said in a pitying tone. "No! I will be fine, I would not miss Christmas with you and your family for the world." Alexandria smiled weakly.

"Only if you are sure?" Benedict asked lifting a skeptical eyebrow. "I am very sure! Let's continue getting everything ready." Alexandria said switching the topic, hoping Benedict would let it go.

It was a little while later and the carriage was getting loaded with all of their bags, they would also be staying to bring in the New Year so there was a lot of bags. "Are you sure you are alright?" Benedict asked again as Alexandria was looking out the carriage window still looking pale and not at all like herself.

"Quite." She said trying to muster up as best a smile as possible. There was a deep nagging feeling within Alexandria that she could be pregnant as the nausea was the first sign. She pushed that thought down as it only had been that morning so far but if the sickness persisted then she should be worried.

If she was pregnant, she did want the baby more than anything. But it was just the fact that she would be pregnant before her wedding, anxiety clawed at Alexandria's insides as she thought of what the ton would say if they found out she partook in sexual activities before getting married. Alexandria did think that she could always conceal her growing bump until her last few months, or even claim the baby was early?

She was thinking too much into this.

The carriage ride to Kent was just under two hours long, the whole time Alexandria had tried to get a little sleep in before the chaos that was Christmas with the Bridgertons. Benedict stared out the window with a small smile on his face, appreciating the comfortable silence and scenic views, itching to sit infront of a canvas again.

Alexandria let out a puff of air out as she was climbing out of the carriage. "I know." Benedict said referencing Alexandria's sigh, feeling the same about spending an entire week with his family. "I love your family so much, but it will be utter chaos."

"Safe journey?" Violet asked as she was getting out of her own carriage, one of the many carriages that had pulled up at the same time. "Very."

Everyone was there except Anthony and Kate who were in India to have their baby. Daphne had even arrived with Simon, August and baby Belinda. The festivities had not even began yet, but just being there with everyone made her feel truly part of the family.

"So what is on the agenda today?" Daphne said, cradling Belinda close to her.  "Preparing for tomorrow, and then I suppose relaxing?" Violet said. That sounded great.

The clan had been kept busy the entire day with Violet shouting orders. Everyone bustled around the large home setting things up for the main event tomorrow, gifts were being put underneath the tree and the kitchen staff were put to work preparing Christmas dinner as it was going to be a big thing.
