"Please can we go visit the Bridgertons! I desperately want to see Hyacinth!" Emmeline pleaded tugging on one of Alexandria's curls. "Ouch Emmy! Yes we will go visit the Bridgertons if only you gave me a moment to get dressed" Alexandria said glaring at Emmeline whilst recovering from the rather hard tug.

"You're the best!" Emmeline squealed and put her tiny arms around her older sister. "Go wait downstairs I'll be a moment" Alexandria said waving off her sister who happily thudded down the stairs.

Alexandria had settled on a Lilac dress which was one of the Avalon family's many signature colours but Lilac was the colour Alexandria tended to favour over the families many other soft colours.

Alexandria walked into the sitting room and saw Emmeline sitting at the windowsill and her mama sitting on the sofa. "I was expecting Marianne to be here already" Alexandria said to her mother as she scanned the room and couldn't see her oldest sister who already had a husband and child but occasionally visited.

"She'll be coming tomorrow to help me prepare you for your debut into society"Rosalie said and got up from her spot towards Alexandria.

"I cannot believe you're already making your debut into society." Rosalie sighed as she put her hand on Alexandria's shoulders. "It will just be like any other day for me" Alexandria said rolling her eyes as she'd heard the same thing from her mama countless times.

"It's not like any other day Alexandria, this is finally the time where you find a husband!" Rosalie said. Alexandria knew better than to argue with her mother and tell her she doesn't just want to marry any random man to which her mother would argue back that they need to keep the Avalon bloodline from ending, Alexandria stayed quiet.

"Anyways, Me and Emmy are going to visit the Bridgertons! Good day!" Alexandria said abruptly and walked out the door. The Avalons and Bridgertons were close friends so Rosalie did not argue against Alexandria and Emmeline visiting. Rosalie Avalon and Violet Bridgerton had been bestfriends since before either of their debuts into society. When their surnames were still Grant and Ledger!

The walk to the Bridgerton house was not far at all, in fact the Avalons stayed directly opposite from the Bridgertons so the girls could easily walk over without needing an escort. Alexandria and Emmeline reach the Bridgerton house and are met with one of the butlers who announce their presence.

"Lady Bridgerton, Miss Alexandria and Emmeline Avalon" The butler announces to Lady Bridgerton.
"Oh marvelous you're here!" Violet said as she rushes towards Alexandria and gently pulls her arm to follow her up the steps.

"Violet? What's going on?" Alexandria said confused. "Eloise has locked herself in her room and will not get out!" Lady Bridgerton sighed. Immediately after hearing that Emmeline darts up the steps. "Emmeline do not run, this is not your house remember!" Alexandria scolds her sister. When Alexandria and Violet reach the landing Eloise's room is on, Alexandria sees all of the Bridgerton siblings crowded outside.

"What's going on?" Alexandria asks to all of the siblings. "Eloise has locked herself in her room because she has declared she doesn't want to make her debut and wants to remain a spinster forever" Benedict said. "And her debut is tomorrow!" Anthony adds while shouting so that Eloise hears him. "May I?" Alexandria said and both Anthony and Benedict move out of the way.

Alexandria moves calmly to the door before banging on it fiercely. "ELOISE BRIDGERTON! GET OUT OF YOUR ROOM THIS INSTANCE I AM NOT MAKING THIS DEBUT ON MY OWN TOMORROW AND I AM NOT ALLOWING YOU TO BELIEVE YOU SHALL BE A SPINSTER FOREVER AT THE AGE OF EIGHT AND TEN" Alexandria shouts in a way she knows that will get through to Eloise.

There is a beat of silence and Alexandria looks around at everyone who is staring back at her with their mouths hanging open and she simply shrugs. Alexandria's eyes look over towards Anthony who nods his head in approval and Benedict who is holding back a laugh.

Another beat of silence passes before the door to Eloise's room unlocks and she comes out sporting a childish pout. "You're right" Eloise grumbles. "I always am" Alexandria grins as she squeezes her bestfriends arm. "But no need to shout" Eloise rolled her eyes. "It is the only way to get through to you." Alexandria shrugged.

The rest of the family breathe out a sigh of relief before heading their separate ways but Benedict lingers. "You should be here to handle Eloise's tantrums more often" He smiles and Eloise shoots him a glare before he walks off.

Alexandrias eyes stay planted on Benedict even as he is walking away, Alexandria had had a crush on Benedict ever since she was a child. Alexandria knew Benedict could never possibly look at her in that way as he was older and probably only saw her as a younger sister but that never stopped Alexandria from being completely sucked in by his beauty.

Out of all the Bridgerton brothers she was closest to Benedict but also Colin, but he was more like her big brother, she could not see Benedict as a brother considering her feelings towards him. Benedict always felt the need to protect Alexandria from everything even though he knew he wasn't obliged to. Alexandria and Benedict grew a special bond after Lord Bridgerton passed away when Alexandria caught him sobbing alone and comforted him.

"Alexandria are you coming?" Eloise questioned, snapping Alexandria out of her Benedict driven thoughts. "Mama when will Penelope join us? It doesn't feel right that only Alexandria is here" Hyacinth questions, noticing Penelope's absence.

Alexandrias eyes subtly look to Colin as she searches his face for any sign of reaction to Penelope being mentioned, Colin's eyes light up at the mention of Penelope's name. Colin eventually catches Alexandria's eye where Alexandria simply smirks and he looks away. Alexandria has pointed out multiple times to Colin that he is oblivious to the fact that he likes Penelope but Colin brushes off Alexandria every time.
