The following day, Alexandria and Benedict were in their own little bubble absolutely enamoured with each other. They hadn't spoken about what to call themselves just yet, they didn't want to burst this perfect bubble.
The sun was blistering, it was making them both feel sticky and hot but they were savouring this weather. This weather to Alexandria was an indicator on how well this summer would go. She would go in her own world frequently, picturing a summer of just completely being wrapped up in eachother and various trips away.
Shortly after they both woke up, Alexandria decided to make her way to sit outside on the porch once again so naturally Benedict had followed. The morning has been spent with countless kisses and embraces.
Alexandria was sitting on the rocking chair at a slightly slumped angle as she was dangling her feet off the fence on the porch which surely looked improper and she was holding a book above her, acting as a shield from the bright sun. Benedict was on the chair besides her with a sketchbook open on his lap. They were passing a cigarette between them and everything felt so natural.
Benedict was casting sneaky glances at Alexandria's side profile. Her curls had been lazily thrown up into a messy bun with some pieces of her hair falling around her face framing it perfectly. He couldn't help but smile at her face when she was reading, he loved the way her nose scrunched up and the way her eyebrows drew together in concentration. Benedict simply couldn't resist drawing Alexandria, after all she was his muse in every painting her did trying to incorporate her in some way. Even if the painting was of a scenic view, he would include a field of lillie's which are her favourite flowers.
Alexandria suddenly let out a little laugh which startled Benedict a bit. "What are you laughing at?" Benedict chuckled. "Oh just this part in the book." Alexandria chuckled after taking a drag of the cigarette and passing it back to Benedict. Benedict took a long draw of the cigarette while looking at her, she was perfect.
Alexandria was currently reading 'Emma' by Jane Austen as it had just been published, it was like a breath of fresh air as all the books she had read or that was being published at the same time was nothing like this one. It was full of gossip and yearning, two things she loved and did her fair share of. Eloise had actually recommended the book and lend Alexandria her personal copy.
"Shall we go to the lake again?" Benedict asked. "Of course!" Alexandria exclaimed slamming her book shut and tossing it on the chair she was previously sat on. "Let me change into something more appropriate".
As Alexandria rushed inside Benedict looked down at his own attire and decided what he was wearing was fine. Alexandria bolted back outside in a shorter swimming dress than the day before and Benedict felt like his eyes practically bulged out of his head.
"Felt like I would choose something more... adventurous." She teased noticing that Benedicts jaw was practically on the floor and she relished in this new found feeling. "Come on then!" Alexandria ushered as Benedict didn't immediately get up from his seat. She quickly grabbed her book and practically skipped out the door and all the way down to the lake.
That's how exhilarated she felt.
"Are you coming in?" Benedict asked as he jumped in the water and noticed that Alexandria didn't follow in after him. "I am just going to sit here for a bit reading." She said and he nodded and continued swimming in laps.
Alexandria was laying on her stomach on the dock reading her book, one hand was holding the book and her other hand she was grazing her fingertips up and down the water. Benedict hurled himself back onto the dock and lay in the same position as Alexandria. Benedict kissed her neck which made her squeal as the hotness of his breath was making her ticklish.
"Come in the water." He asked as he continued kissing on her neck which made her feel as if she had a knot in her stomach which was slowly unfurling at the minute.
"You are getting me all wet!" Alexandria exclaimed as Benedict's hand was gripping her waist firmly. That didn't stop him though as Benedict had kissed the side of Alexandria's mouth and she gave in and turned her face towards him so their lips touched.
Her lips were soft and puffy on his and Benedict simply couldn't get enough, he pushed his tongue against her mouth and she silently gave him permission to enter. Things began to ramp up as Benedict now had his fingers tangled in Alexandria's hair, her bun now coming undone.
Benedict hooked a leg under Alexandria's and rolled her on top of him, he felt her smile against his lips. She felt the outline of him underneath her and tried to resist the urge to moan which she failed to do which now made Benedict smile against her. Alexandria knew she didn't want to go there just yet especially on the dock next to a lake. This situation they were in also meant so much more to her than just kissing this is everything she's ever dreamed of.
She came up for air from his lips. "Oh." She gasped touching her lips which felt incredibly swollen and raw she looked down at Benedict's and his were the same. Benedict grazed his thumb against her bottom lip and then gave her a quick peck. Benedict had also noticed that across Alexandria's nose and cheeks she had caught the sun which made him chuckle. This made Alexandria freeze, too startled to move.
"Shall we have that swim now." Benedict smirked noticed by Alexandria's shell shocked look, she gulped and nodded silently.
