Alexandria had officially moved into Benedict's apartment now. Feeling more at ease than she has in a while. They had only been moved in together for a week but everything felt so easy. It was like they were destined to live together all along.

"I am so glad we finally live together, it feels right." Alexandria smiled as Benedict hooked an arm around her. She looked around the place and saw her items littering the place turning it into a shared space.

"Me too. Be prepared to be sick of me for the rest of your life." Benedict smiled dopeyly. "I do not think I could ever get sick of you!" She smiled.

They had hardly saw anyone as they were too busy gutting the place out. Benedict had argued that was what the maids and housekeeper was for, but something about actually flipping a room upside down and getting rid of things was nice. So naturally, Alexandria won that argument.

His apartment was due some heavy TLC. As it was previously Benedict's "bachelor lodgings" it was a mess. They worked as a team going through each room and clearing it out. Even the spare rooms with nothing occupying them, were somehow a mess?

Alexandria stood in one of the empty rooms admiring it thinking about how it could actually be her and Benedict's child's bedroom sometime in the future. She wasn't just fantasising anymore this could be her reality soon.

"What are you doing in here?" Benedict asked sneaking up on Alexandria by accident. "Just admiring how much light this room gets!" Alexandria lied, Benedict looked at her with a disbelieving look but let it go.

"I think we need to switch up the colour scheme in this house." Alexandria suggests looking at the walls that are a deep red and black, the darkness of the walls making the space feel too small and suffocating. "What's wrong with red and black!" Benedict said slightly offended.

"Well.. it is just.. dull?" Alexandria said trying her best to say it in a respectful way. "I suppose you are right." Benedict huffed which Alexandria cracked a smile at "I always am!"

"So what colours do you suggest instead?" Benedict asked. "Well we could maybe incorporate our family colours?" Alexandria suggested. "Like what Colin and Penelope did in their home?" Benedict asked suddenly remember.

"Yes. So we incorporate the Bridgerton blue and my family colours." Alexandria said. "What is your family's colours?" Benedict asked, feeling slightly bad that he did not know before. "Well we did not have one set colour really. It was more soft pastel colours. But we did tend to favour sage green and lilac a lot more!" Alexandria exclaimed.

"How about lilac then? Purple goes nicely with blue." Benedict smiled. "That is it settled then!" Alexandria beamed, spinning around to admire the place imagining their family colours blended together finally. "My parents would probably have went for green, so I am glad we decided on purple."

They discussed colour schemes a little more and their plans for the rest of the house but a sharp knock at the door pulled them out of the conversation. "I will get it." Alexandria decides as she makes her way to the door. She has a slight bit of anxiety at who will be standing at the other side, her opening this door could potentially ruin her day.

"Marianne! and Lena!" Alexandria squeals at the sight of her sister and niece. "Little sis!" Marianne exclaims as she pulls Alexandria into a tight embrace. Benedict is right behind Alexandria but when he sees little Lena bounding towards him he could not help but open his arms out for her.

"How have you been?" Marianne asked as Alexandria guides her towards the sitting room, Lena's squeals of happiness could be heard from behind them as Benedict tickled her.

"That is a loaded question." Alexandria said letting out a puff of air. "Before we get into all of that, I brought you this." Marianne said passing over the familiar brown paper coloured gift. Benedict's curiously was piqued as he looked at the item with curiosity and a lot of questions.
