- Kings POV

She had to be thinking of me since she was moaning. I gently laid her on her back but she rolled back laying on my arm.

I slide it out and went to the bathroom. I decided to go ahead and brush my teeth.
As I came out her alarm started going off. I ran and turned it off wanting to wake her a different way.

I kissed her forehead, "good morning baby girl time to get up."
"Mmm."
I laughed and started to sit her up. "Come on get up."

Lani laid her head on my shoulder. "Good morning"
It took her a few minutes to fully wake up.
She was even cuter in the morning.

"How'd you sleep" she asked as we were getting ready.
"Amazing, you?"
"Same your body is so warm."

"I could tell you were because you was snoring" she giggled.

"Aha whoa I do not snore."
"Chill it's a soft snore and I liked it" she said with a sweet smile.

** phone rings **

We both grabbed our phones
"It's me" she said answering.
"Yea wassup Kee?"... " No Jas is right I have a ride," she looked at me blushing.

Last night she told me what happened with her and Kee and I was a little jealous at first. Lani thinks she's cute but doesn't feel for her so I'm good. The way Kee came onto her, I know what to expect today.

" I should've gotten up earlier to make breakfast."
"Maybe another morning baby girl. We can stop on the way."

We grabbed our bags and headed to my car.
I opened the door for her of course. I was smiling the whole ride and she was too.

"Oh I have a question," I said remembering this morning.
"Yea wassup" she replied.
"Well don't take this the wrong way but do you wear underwear when you sleep."
"Uh" she blushed, " no I don't like too, just the shorts."

We got to school and Jasmine pulled up and parked in front of us.
Lani and I got out and I grabbed her bag.
"Best friend" Jasmine said running to Kalani hugging her.
Kee and Alex followed.
"What's good?" Alex gave me dap.

"So King brought you to school?" Kee looked calm but I knew otherwise.
"Well yea king stayed the night with.." Jasmine hit Alex in the stomach cutting him off.

"What the fuck Kalani? You really ..."
I interrupted her " you need to chill. Kalani was being nice since my families furniture isn't here."

Her face changed. "Oh ok so you crashing on the couch sorry I..."
"No they slept.."
"Alex!!" We all yelled.
"Oh so everyone knows but me?"

Lani went to Kee " calm down Kee I was going to let you know. Unfortunately Alex over here has no filter."
" It's whatever Lani. But King should know how close we became."

" I know exactly what happened and how close you want her" I said stepping to her.
I felt Kalani put her body between us. Her and Jasmine suggested we both walk away.
I grabbed Kalani's hand and headed in the building.

" I'm sorry" Lani said and I could hear the sadness in her voice.
"It's not your fault. You was honest with me and I had an idea what to expect from her today."

We looked at each other and smiled.
We were interrupted when Kalani got bumped from behind.
"Derek" she said as she turned to look at who ran into her.

"Oh hey. Sorry I never texted you I got a new phone. I dropped my old one at the beach."
She introduced us and told me how they meet.
"Nice seeing you again." We left and went to our homeroom.
