A year later
Today was the day. Today was the day I've been waiting for. I'm finally tying the knot with Colin.
I had taken Jimmy, my parents, Nancy, Tina Fey, and Drew Barrymore to help me choose my wedding dress, and Colin and I had chosen our bridesmaids, groomsmen, maid of honor, best man, flower girls, and ring bearers. Our wedding was going to be at the Central Park Boathouse, and I couldn't wait to finally get to marry the love of my life. I got out of bed and made my way downstairs, and Nancy saw me. "Well, today's the big day!" She exclaimed, and she hugged me tightly. I smiled widely and said, "It sure is!" Nancy smiled and added, "You, me, Drew and Tina are going to go to the salon and get our nails done, and Drew and I will do your hair and makeup if that's okay with you!" I smiled again and replied, "That sounds perfect."

After 7 or 8 hours of getting me ready for my wedding, we finally began to make our way over to the boathouse. I was in a car with Nancy, Drew, and Tina, and we were entering on the East side. Colin and all of the boys were entering on the West side, and we weren't going to see any of them until the actual wedding ceremony. Nancy guided me upstairs into our little prep room and got my dress out of the closet, and she helped me put it on. "Oh my god, Meg..." She looked at me in awe as I turned around and let her see the whole dress. "You look absolutely stunning." I smiled and hugged Nancy tightly. Someone knocked on the door, and Tina opened the door ever so slightly and asked, "Who's there?" I heard the familiar voice of my mom say, "It's Gloria- I just have to tell Megan something." Tina let my mom in, and she looked at me and smiled proudly. "You look so beautiful, sweetheart." She hugged me tightly and said, "I'm so proud of you." I hugged her back and replied, "Thanks, Mom. I love you." She replied, "I love you too, Megan." We separated, and she looked at me and smiled. "Your father and I were talking about this, and we thought that it would be a nice touch for your wedding, but the final decision is completely up to you..." Everyone in the room stopped what they were doing and looked up at my mom.
"We want Jimmy to walk you down the aisle."
I covered my mouth in shock, and I asked her, "Really...? But what about dad?" She smiled lovingly at me and said, "We both know how close you and Jimmy are... We've known it since you were little. We think that it would be nice for the both of you. Your father told Jimmy and he flipped out." I smiled widely and said, "That sounds amazing." My mom smiled and replied, "Good, I'll go tell Jimmy that you agreed... See you out there, hun." I hugged my mom one last time before she left.
This day couldn't get any better.

The music began to play as I looked over to Jimmy, who was holding my hand and smiling widely. "You ready, Meggo?" I smiled back up at him and replied, "Yep." Jimmy squeezed my hand and said to me, "You look absolutely, stunningly beautiful." I looked up at Jimmy, and I saw a tear graze his eye. I laughed quietly and caught his tear with my thumb, and I said, "Thank you, Jimmy... And you aren't allowed to cry, because then I'll cry, and the 3 hours worth of makeup that Nancy and Drew put on me this morning will be all over my face." Jimmy laughed the adorable, melodic laugh that I loved so much. He squeezed my hand one last time, and we opened the doors and walked in to the foyer of the room that they had put aside at the Central Park Boathouse for us. Jimmy was smiling down at me, and I couldn't help but smile as we turned the corner and walked into the room where all of the guests were sitting. I looked up and saw Colin standing at the altar, and I couldn't help but smile even more. I walked down the aisle and saw all of the people who mean the world to Colin and me, and as I got closer, I saw Colin begin to cry a little bit as he got a better look at me. My eyes began to water up, and we finally reached the altar. I turned to Jimmy and wrapped him in a huge bear hug, and we hugged tightly. I didn't want to let him go... His comforting, familiar scent was home to me. He squeezed me and whispered to me, "I love you so much, Megan." I whispered back, "I love you more, James." He let me go and held my hands in his. "Impossible." We both smiled widely, and he kissed my cheek as Colin came to help me up the stairs. I finally got to my spot on the altar, and Colin was beaming at me with admiration. "You look... Beautiful." Colin's eyes were watering, and I squeezed his hands and replied, "Thank you." The wedding official began to officiate the service...
