I think it has kicked in that Casey and I are the opposite of each other. But yet, we seem to complete each other perfectly. She's the innocent and sensitive type of girl, while I'm the more coldhearted, dangerous type of guy - well at least that's what I became after all the shit that happened.

In life, you just have to be heartless at times.

Our marriage was running smoothly... For now. I had a feeling something was bound to happen and just simply ruin Casey and I's relationship, just like it has been happening for the past few years.

I was trying to enjoy every minute I spend with Casey and we've actually been trying to get a baby for a couple of months now, but the timing is always bad apparently.

But I can't complain too much. I have the girl I've always wanted as my wife and I get to see her do her thing every single day.

Casey

My life was finally going good... Too good. It was odd, but I felt better than ever. Jack's the best husband I could possibly ask for and even though we both been through a hard time - it was all worth it.

I have an appointment at the hospital later for a pregnancy test and I'm bringing Johnson along, he's the only person that's allowed to know Jack and I have been trying for a baby. The reason I'm not doing a pregnancy test at home? Those tests aren't always right. Last time I used one of those, it said positive, but the hospital disappointed both Jack and I and told us I wasn't pregnant.

I'm not taking Jack with me to the hospital because one, I don't want to give him false hope and two, I want it to be a surprise if I happen to be pregnant.

But yeah, that's my life right now and as boring as it sounds, I've missed living a boring life.

« little do they know shit's about to go down... this is just a small intro to update you guys on jack and casey's life. this book is going to be even more dramatic than the other two books. it's going to be filled with tears, happiness, confusion and other stuff i'm not allowed to mention yet.

anyways, i want to thank saltyparadise & @sadful_bae for suggesting a plot idea which inspired me to write this story. i did put my own twist on the story, but it's based on what they had suggested! thank you both! ✨
