I would say this weekend was a success, I got to spend time with my family, ate like a king, and got to spend time with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. Overall, I enjoyed myself... I looked over at my little brother and Dralen seemed more at peace than I had seen him in a long time.... he wasn't smiling, but he glowed with happiness. Waylon on the other hand, before he dipped seemed... tense but not angry. With all that being said, there were two things there were bothering me the first being my mom.... I couldn't quite put my finger on it but I could feel it in my bones that she was hiding something, she played the role of a loving wife.... maybe I shouldn't phrase it that way because she's wasn't playing a role I could tell she was geniunely happy.... but.... Aight, I'm a mama's boy.... I love my mama dearly and I'd fuck anyone up over her, but with that, I could tell. Probably more than anyone in my family, I could sense when something was off with her and this entire weekend something seemed... off. The other thing that was bothering me was Eater... I mean Egypt. He was bothering me in a different kind of way because it was becoming apparent that he was turning me into a sex feen.... how else can you explain him being able to convince me to come outside, at four in the morning, in my boxers, so he could eat my ass in my parents driveway? I was becoming addicted and I knew that we really needed to slow down because if left to him, he'd be flip-fuckin all over his off-campus apartment, missing classes and shyt... I didn't need that kind of trouble right now.
"So Lil Bro.... how was your weekend?" I asked breaking the silence.
"It was coo... got to know Jahlil's friends a little better, got to get away from the books and research for a while and just exist....." Dralen said and I understood how he felt, burnout could be a bitch so taking some time to just..... "Do you wanna explain what you and Egypt were doing in the driveway this morning?" Dralen asked and I swerved for a second before regaining control.
"I uhhh.... we were just.... I mean.... That's my dude, what we were doing is none of your business." I asked and Dralen proceeded to laugh for about five minutes. "I really don't see what's so funny...." I said getting annoyed.
"Calm yo teets... I'm just fuckin with you, but those feelings must be strong if he got you stuttering and shyt. I'm just surprised that it was Egypt that you ended up falling in love with... personally I had my money on Silas." Dralen said.
"That situation with Silas was a moment in time.... we were never officially together but it was heading in that direction... Shyt just got messed up with Derrick's death and.... me and Silas are still friends.... so we've both been able to move on. Anyways, enough about my love life... did you notice anything wrong with mom?" I asked.
"Ugh don't get me started on her...." Dralen said rolling his eyes. "They really couldn't wait until we left before they....." Dralen paused and took a deep breath. "Before we left, I went to tell her that we were leaving and I walked into their bedroom, was laying face down, ass tooted up, and mom was....." I quickly covered my ears because I really didn't want to know what our parents were doing. "You covering your ears... imagine seeing it. I'm going to be scarred for life."
"Changing subjects, what are you doing when we get back to campus?" I asked wanting to move as far away from that conversation as possible.
"Going to seem Haasim... he's been hitting me up all weekend, nigga is feenin for some throat and I feel like I've made him wait long enough." Dralen said and I swear my entire family was full of freaks. "So what's going on with Waylon... he seems a little tense. I hoped Uncle Desmond ain't giving him a hard time because I actually like this new Waylon." Dralen said.
"He was coo when we went out.... you know how he used to be, first to swing at the slightest hint of perceived disrespect.... but he was chillin for the most part and I think that has a lot to do with Coach Quest." I said.
