Trigger warning!!!{I'm so sorry}
The house that could never stay quiet for even a single minute was now complete silent. No angry bosses yelling, no golf carts driving around, no 'oooh' shouts, no workers slacking off. Nothing, nothing but the constant pitter, patter of rain falling against the pavement. The park is closed today. Benson stayed in his office most of the time, Pop's became more silent, Muscle Man and High Five Ghost don't go to the park much, skips was more muted than before, and Mordecai avoided almost everyone. The life of the park was gone. It was taken for granted and now it's gone, gone, gone.... Rigby Raccoon was...gone.
Flashback 4 months ago...
"I love you."these three words made everything fade into black."I...I do. I-i-i love you...Mordecai" these following words pained him, they pained him because he couldn't say he was sure he loved Rigby back.
"Thanks...Riggs, b-but I-..." He was silenced by Rigby' s quick movement to look back at him.
"But...you don't love me back.. do you?" He turned back to look at Mordecai with a small smile but the look in his eyes was filled with such sorrowful sadness. "It's okay... that was just...something I needed to get off my chest." Rigby turned back to look up at the night sky. They were both up on the roof look at the sky. The stars shine dulled as if they understood the pain Rigby was going through.
"Look Riggs, I-" Mordecai began until he was interrupted by Rigby's seemingly calm voice.
"Mordecai, it's late. Don't you need to be up early to go see Margaret tomorrow?" His voice was calm and smooth but it still dripped with unclear sadness.
Mordecai said nothing and stayed sitting for a while unable to process the occurring event.
"Yeah. I guess it's time to go to bed." He paused at the latter and turned towards Rigby. "You gonna...come inside...with me?" He waited for his answer but Rigby didn't even turn to look at him. He just shook his 'no'.
"I'll go in a bit later. Not tired yet." An uncomfortable silence filled the space between them.
"Okay don't stay out...too long. Kay." Mordecai looked back to the latter and slowly started to climb down to the window.
Once Mordecai was inside and Rigby was alone he dropped the smile and let loose the tears he was trying so desperately to keep in. He had the urge to kick and scream, but he didn't, he couldn't. He just let the tears fall. The tears alone gave the loudest scream your voice could let out.
"I-don't w-w-want to lo-ose him." He whispered to himself. "But...it seems...I already did." Those were the words he said before he took out the blade hidden in his hoodie pocket.
To Rigby, that blade is his only true friend that could never do him wrong. He looked sadly at it before sliding it slowly across his wrist. The pain inflicted by the blade was nothing compared to the pain he felt of the rejection he knew would await him.
Next day 8:00 a.m.
Mordecai woke to the sound of Benson's tantrum. He stretched and yawned loudly, before he turned to look over at Rigby's bed. It was empty. Mordecai got out of bed and got ready. When he finally got to the kitchen Rigby was already finished with his breakfast. Something was off with the way Rigby looked. Rigby was always pale but he seemed paler than before, the bags under his eyes also looked much more heavier than ever, his eyes didn't shine as bright as they once did, his figure was much more skinny and sluggish then the energetic boy that once always never stopped talking.
As Mordecai watched Rigby longer and better he realized he knew he was there watching him and he was trying to hide something by the way his movements were so stiff.
"Hey Rigby,... how are you?" He was cautious of what to say and how to word it. The information that Rigby gave him yesterday on the roof top made things a little, no wrong, they made everything different.
"Humm oh yeah...I'm okay...why you asking?" He responded very hesitantly and tried to avoid eye contact with him.
Mordecai let out a sigh and spoke, not answering Rigby's question."Look Rigby....about yesterday...on the roof..." He didn't get to finish what he was saying as he was interrupted by another of Benson's tantrum.
"RIGBY! MORDECAI! GET TO WORK! NOW!" Benson looked into the kitchen with such an enraged expression that sent chills down their spines. They both got to work.
HERE! MORE MORBY! I said fuck it and decided to write it anyway! But if you hyuumanss think I need to change or improve on something...tell me and I'll try my hardest to fix it. If you don't like it then simply don't read it...
Oh! And the picture you see at the top....I drew that! I feel proud of it in a sad way...but anyway I'll try to draw a picture to put on top in all the chapters but I'll sometimes put a picture not made by me. Or sometimes I'll be too lazy to put one on. That's all my lovely HYUUMANS!!!
