"Ugh." Naomi moaned, waking up. Her head felt like a ton of bricks had fallen in it.

"You're awake." A voice whispered. She could feel the bed move down a little. Strong arms wrapped around her on the bed, pulling her close.

Naomi jumped and wriggled out the grasp. She fell off the bed onto the floor screaming.

"Woah, woah." The person said, holding their hands out. The lights turned on and Naomi could see it was a man.

"Who are you!" She yelled, moving up against the wall, grabbing a knife from a drawer on the way.

"I'm Jim Kirk! Naomi, you don't remember me?" The man asked, walking over to a communicator in the wall.

"No!" Naomi yelled, pointing the knife in front of her.

"Well, I'm going to call a man. He's a doctor. He'll help you." Jim said, calling the man.

"Dammit Jim, you called me away from my wife and my newborn daughter, this better be good!" Another man grumbled, walking in with a kit in his hand.

"I think she lost her memory, she doesn't know who I am." Jim told him in a low toned voice.

"Hey, can you tell me your name?" The man asked, slowly walking towards Naomi.

"Naomi Reither." She muttered, waving the knife at him.

"Please put the knife down, in not going to hurt you." He said, sitting on the floor next to Naomi. "I'm McCoy."

"Hi." Naomi muttered, terrified.

"How old are you?" McCoy asked, taking her hand.

"I-I don't remember." Naomi mumbled.

"Okay, this'll come as a shock to you." McCoy started saying, scanning her face. "You're twenty seven years old. You were in StarFleet. You fell in love with a man, Jim Kirk, and got married. Your name is now Naomi Kirk. You have twin sons, who are twenty two weeks old."

Naomi was stunned. "I'm married!" She exclaimed, suddenly noticing the wedding ring on her left finger. "He's my husband!" She exclaimed, pointing at Jim. He nodded and sat down beside her.

"I'm sorry for scaring you earlier. It was an accident." Jim said, his voice gentle.

"Alright." Naomi mumbled, in shock. "I HAVE KIDS!"

Jim smirked and nodded. "Twin boys, Malcolm Jackson Kirk and Elliot George Kirk."

"I WAS PREGNANT!" Naomi yelled, amazed. Jim nodded.

"You told me it wasn't as bad as you thought it'd be." He answered, kissing her cheek.

"I was pregnant!" She muttered, putting her hand on her stomach.

"Yes. You were. Not anymore." Jim said laughing. "Right Bones, she's not." Jim added, fear forming in his face.

"She's not pregnant Jim." McCoy muttered, putt by the scanner away.

"It's just a general case of memory loss. She should get her memory back in a couple of days." He said, helping Naomi stand. "Until then, it's sickbay for you."

"Fine." Naomi grumbled, walking out with McCoy. Jim reluctantly had to drop the kids off at daycare and go to work. It was hard for him to leave the babies with other people, but he managed.
