*four days later. Jim still has vivid dreams and visions. Naomi is twenty two weeks pregnant. Same warnings as last chapter*

Jim had been sick. Very sick. Naomi wished that they weren't out of range, she needed to talk to hers and his family. Naomi had to be knocked out with safe drugs so she didn't get stressed out. Stress wasn't good for the baby.

Jim would twitch and jerk whenever he slept. Restraints were on the bed so he didn't flip off or attack any nurses. Naomi had been with the babies for the past few days. They were the only thing that really brought her happiness.

Things were a little okay for Jim when he was awake. He had to talk to a therapist about the dreams and try to work them out. It helped a little, but it didn't stop the awful dreams he had. Elliot and Malcolm cheered him up.

He was still very pale and shaky. A cold sweat almost always covered his body. Elliot would giggle and laugh whenever Jim held him. Jim would smile briefly before the smile left his face.  Malcolm would just sit and stare, he wasn't much fun.

"Jim, do you want to talk. I'm your wife, you can tell me anything." Naomi insisted, sitting down by the bed. Jim moved his head over to face her.

"How's Chris?" He asked, looking down at Naomi's stomach.

"She's under a lot of pressure because I'm stressed. It's not good, can you tell me what's bothering you?" Naomi asked again, trying to convince him.

"Seeing Elliot with the breathing problems, the tubes down his throat. And then seeing you sick in bed because of a pregnancy with our child, I felt as though I put you through the pain. It brought back so many awful, awful memories. Like Frank abusing me and Sam. Dying from radiation. Everything. My whole life has been hell, you and the boys were the only thing keeping me truly on. Even Chris. Sure, I love the crew and the ship, but not the way I love you." Jim said, gazing into Naomi's eyes.

"Jim, I love you too. The boys love you." Naomi said, taking his hand. She moved closer and placed his hand where the baby would kick. She was kicking right now.

"I'm so sorry." Jim muttered, tears forming in his eyes. He looked to the left corner of the room and jerked away. "Get out of here!" He screamed towards the corner.

"Jim! What is it!" Naomi asked, panicked. She moved his head to face her. "It's only me Jim. We're alone. Only us." She muttered to him over and over until he closed his eyes. He opened them again.

"He's still here." Jim muttered, staring at the corner. Naomi looked around the room, no one was there.

"Jim, there's no one here. I'll go get a doctor." Naomi said, walking out.

"We've gotta stop meeting like this Jimmy." Frank said, moving towards Jim with a knife in his hand.

"Leave me alone. Leave my family alone." Jim growled, trying to stay calm. The knife was swing at his face, but Jim moved back. "You can't hurt me. You're an illusion."

"Am I, Jim. Am I?" Frank asked, swinging the knife again. This time the blade hit the tip of Jim's nose. A small cut formed and started to bleed.

"What? How-" Jim asked, before he was cut off by the hands of Frank. He was trying to strangle him.

"Maybe illusions can not be as they seem." Frank grumbled while joking Jim. He tried to cry for help, but to no avail.

"Jim!" Naomi yelled, running into the room with a nurse. Frank let go of Jim and rushed back to the corner where he disappeared.

Gasping for breath, Jim managed to mutter "Frank." Before he fell into unconsciousness from lack of air.

Later when he woke up, Frank was at the foot of his bed. "I have to admit, you scored with that wife."

"Get away from me." Jim growled again, kicking his leg out. "Why are you here?"

"To slowly make you go insane." Frank muttered before tapping a code into a device on his hand and disappearing completely.

That was the trick, it wasn't an illusion. Frank was actually here. And for some reason he could make himself only visible and audible to Jim. People could move through him for a reason Jim didn't know. All he knew is that Frank was here and that he was dangerous.
