Lyric POV

"What she talking about" My mom asked to no one in particular.

I ignored my mom and just looked at Lay like she done lost her everlasting mind.

"What the fuck Alayah? That was NOT your place ! " I shook my head in shock.

"Look Lili I'm not going to sit back and continue to watch you cry another tear over all of this. I been told you to say something and you didn't. So I did !"

"Bitch it's my business. Did you go through it or me."

"Watch your mouth little girl." My mother said.

"Get out Alayah. Liked you seriously just blew me."

"What?" She asked raising her eyebrow.

"Bounce !"

Lay shook her head and started to get up to leave.

"Alayah you sit your ass right back down now and you" She turned and pointed in my face "got less then a minute to tell us what she talking about." My mother demanded.
Everyone was staring at me waiting on a answer.

"I can't do this right now" I looked at Lay before getting up.

"Lyric Nevaeh King you better sit down now and i'm dead ass" my dad barked which made me cry even harder. I hate when he fusses at me.

I did as told and placed my head in my hands. Lay rubbed my back trying to comfort me. "Just tell them Lili" She said a little above a whisper.

"Tell us what?"Ry asked. I looked up slowly examining everyone's facial expression. They just looked at me anxiously. I swallowed the lump in my throat before clearing my voice to speak.

"Rell use to put- put" I was trying to hold it together so I wouldn't break down completely. "-his hands on me. We would fight all the time. He would take his insecurity issues out on me physically and emotionally. I didn't say anything cause I didn't wanna bring my problems home. "

"Alayah and you knew all this time and didn't say anything? You suppose to be my other baby girl! "My mom asked her. Lay just put her head down in shame. My mom automatically started crying and shaking.

"How many times did he raise his hand to you?" My mom had calmed herself down enough to ask.

"That's not important."

"Just answer the question Lili" Ry said.

"We had heated arguments all the time but we had five actual fights before I couldn't take it anymore" I hung my head down.

"So you mean to tell me he was putting his hands on you that whole time and you was bringing him in my house?" i've never seen my dad so mad at me.

Ry looked at me disgusted and stormed off to his room. I was biting my lip by this time trying to holding back tears.

" What you mean Lyric? That ain't no secret to keep. That man was over there whipping your ass black and blue and you was protecting him." Jr was livid.

" I wasn't protecting him. I was protecting my feelings. I didn't want to be judged!"

"Man go head with that shit."

"Fuck you Jr. I don't have to explain shit to NOBODY! I'm grown. I've made my mistakes and now I just have to live with them."

"Yea well when I see his ass it's on sight. No fucks given" Biggs said and Throne and Jr nodded in agreement.
