Thanksgiving Pt1

"You good? " Jordan asked. We were standing on his mother's front porch. I was waiting on him to open the door.

"Yea, I'm fine." And I was. I wasn't afraid to meet parents. Of course I would love for his mother to like me but hey if she doesn't I can't make her.

"Lady's first. " finally getting the door open I started walking in until he stop me. "Uh you welcome. "

"Thank you nigga damn." He gave me the side eye. I rolled my eyes grabbing his hand. " Thank you baby. I really appreciate it. "

"Much better." He kissed my cheek.

"Don't get cute bruh."

He started smirking before yelling "Ma."

"We in the kitchen baby." She yelled back.

"Wassup mama." Making it to the kitchen I noticed another older lady and a dude who I assumed was Jordan's older brother from how he described him. "Hey baby."

"Lyric this is my mother Destiny, my grandmother Kat, and my brother Mario. Everyone this is my girlfriend Lyric." He introduced us after they hugged each other.

"Hi. Its nice to finally meet you all ." I waved.

"Hi you doing beautiful. " his brother said taking my hand in his and kissing it. I blushed at his gesture " I'm fine thank you. "

"Aye, Mario cut the shit. This all me boy. " Jordan pulled me towards him.

"That's only cause she ain't see me first. " he winked at me.

"Grams get this nigga." He said pouting.

"Aww babe you know that's not true. " I giggled kissing his cheek.

"She just saying that to save your feelings. You know this baby face gets them every time. " I started laughing and Jordan looked at me with the quickness mugging me which made me laugh even harder.

"Child leave my baby alone. " he started cheesing like Chester the cat.
"Its nice to me you as well sweetheart." His grandmother said walking up to me and pulling me away from Jordan and into a hug. I smiled hugging her back.

"Okay ma don't suffocate the poor girl. Can I hug her at least before you send her on to glory ? " she let go of me rolling her eyes at her daughter. "I seen that ma." She said hugging me and shaking her head.

"Girl bye. Ain't nobody scared of you." I just laughed at the two of them. You can tell that their more like best friends then mother and daughter.

"Anyways darling. Its nice to meet you also. You can have a seat with your little pretty self. And you working that outfit to hunnie."

"Thanks ma'am." I took my coat off and sat it on the back of my chair before taking a seat at the island.

"Girl do I look like her?" She pointed to her mother laughing. Her mother just smacked her teeth. "Don't call me no ma'am. Destiny is fine."

"Okay."

"What do you usually do for thanksgiving? "

"I usually stay home with my family but after we're done here I'm going to take Jordan to meet my family as well."

"Oh okay. Do you have sibling also? "

"Yes. I have four brothers. Three older and one younger. "
