Lyric POV

My ass started choking on air. What the fuck his ass just say. I know damn well he ain't say what I think I heard.
I pushed him off me and hoped up.

"What you say ? "

"You heard me Lyric. Don't play with me." he said still sitting on the bed while I stood in front of him.

"Why would you say that ? "

"What kind of questions is that ? " he asked with a mugged look on his face.

"What made you say you love me ? "

" The fact that I do love you. " he said in a duh tone

"How are you so sure that you love me ?  "

"Why are you questioning my love for you? Have I ever giving you a reason not to believe what I'm saying is true ? "

"No but-" he cut me off.

"There is no but Lyric. Look I understand if your not ready to say it back wit your little mean ass. "

I smacked his arm " I am not mean."

"You don't even believe that. "

"Whatever but just give me some time."

"I got you" I could tell he felt some type of way but didn't want to speak on it so I quickly changed the subject.

"What you want to eat ? I can fix you something before my parents make me put you out. " I laughed at the last part because I was so serious. My parents never let him spend the night. 
"I'm good. Imma just head out now. I'll get something on my way home."

"You sure? Cause it's not a problem bae."

"Yea ma." He stood up and pulled me towards him to give me a kiss. I wrapped my arms around his waist and stood on my tippy toes to kiss him.

"Okay" I mumbled

" I really do love you Lyric."

"I know. "

" I'll see tomorrow ." He let me go but I pulled him back before he could walk off.

"Are you mad at me? "

"Nah"

"I can't tell. "

"I'm not doe. "

"Well then can I get another kiss? " he nodded and this time I pulled his face down and slowly dragged my tongue across his bottom lip before biting on it lightly and sucking it into my mouth. He rubbed on my ass making me let go of his lip and moan against his mouth.

He peaked my lips twice before  backing up . " I'll see you tomorrow. "

"Bye pooh." After getting his stuff he finally went home.

"Lyric. " Rylie called out to me

"Yea" I was sitting on my bed reading a book on wattpad called 'Sneaky'

"Mommy asked are you eating? She fixed parmesan chicken with pasta and garlic bread. " he said walking into my room

"Not now, maybe later. Can you put my plate up for me? " I looked up from my phone to him.

"Yeah but what's wrong with you? "

"Nothing."

"You lying like shit girl. I can hear it in your tone. "

"Boy bye. You can't hear shit."

" Bruh I know you. You might think I don't but I do. So tell me wassup"

" Can I ask you a question ? " I put my phone down and looked up at him.

"You just did. "

"For real Ry."

"My bad. Go ahead." he came and sat next to me in the bed.

"What if you told a girl that you loved her and she didn't say it back. How would you feel ? "

"I don't love these hoes so that will never happen to me. I'm too much of a pump for that shit. "

"Seriously Rylie." I pointed towards the door. "Get out."

"Sike nah, chill. Honestly tho I would be hurt for the simple fact that I'm the type of person if I say it I mean It.
See cause love is a very strong word and the only females that have ever heard me say I love you are the ones in my family. I will never be the type of dude to use the L word just to get some pussy.

Shit if you ain't fucking, you just ain't fucking. But I also wouldn't say it unless i felt as though that person felt the same way. So for me to say it to you I would think that your natural reaction would be to say it back and mean it."

"Oh."

" Jordan told you he love you or something? "

"Yea."

"What happened ? "

"I didn't say it back."

"And what he say? "

"That he understood but I think he lying. "

"Well why didn't you say it back? "

"Cause I'm not ready to say it yet. Once it's said I can't take it back. "

"Do you love him though ? ."

"I do love him that's the thing. As my boyfriend and especially as my friend . I'm just scared."

"Of what ?"

"That things will change. That once I say it the dynamic of our relationship with shift and I'm not ready for that."

" You think he goin do you like Rell did you or something ?"

"Not at all."

"Then Lyric you can't really believe that things will change between the two of you ."

"I know." I mumbled

"If you knew it then you would've said it back Lili. "

"It's not that easy for me Rylie."

"Just talk to him "

"I will but not right now cause I think he mad at me ."

"I would be mad at your ass to son. I'm quite sure that he knows you love him so he probably just trynna figure out why you ain't say it back . Call him and see wassup. I'm going to go eat."

"Alright fat ass. "

"I just helped your ass out and you being disrespectful. Ungrateful ass nigga. " he side eyed me.

"Awww I'm sorry Ry." I kissed his cheek. " Cause you really are good for something. " I laughed

"Shut yo ugly as up. " He picked up my pillow from behind him and hit me with it before getting up and  running out my room.

"You ain't shit." I yelled.

"Watch your mouth in my fucking house Lyric." My mother yelled

"Sorry ma" I yelled back still laughing

I picked up my phone and called Jordan but he didn't answer. So I decided against calling him a second time and just called Shay instead to remind her to come over in the morning before I started moving so she could take her tests .
