Aye Wazzup, okay so this book is gonna be written from the POV of 4 people. Landon, James, Madison, and Mitchell. Kk kewl. Have fun reading!
Mitchell's POV:
I glanced down at my watch to check the time. 8:09am. F***. Class starts at 8:10am and I'm pretty sure I'm not even in the correct wing. Where the f*** is class C210? I do NOT want to make a grand entrance at my new school in the middle of the semester. The halls were empty. Do people even have class in the wing?"It was your turn to wake up Levi!" A girls voice echoed from behind me.
"No no no, I woke him up on Friday!" A boy's voice responded. I tried to look like I wasn't lost when they walked by but I suppose it was obvious because they both stopped infront on my and asked
"are you lost?" At the same time. I looked up at the hopelessly when suddenly my eye was caught by the girl. Her hair was dark brown and long, past her butt, it was down and straight, her eyes were huge and crystal blue with long eyelashes, she was pale but had a galaxy of freckles on her button nose and cheeks, and full pink plump lips. The boy looked the same but his hair stopped at his shoulders and he had a much stronger jawline. They were both short, the girl 5 foot the boy 5"2'. But beautiful they were. I quickly came to my senses and grimaced.
"Yeah... I am supposed to be in C210" I muttered. The girls smile widened baring bright perfect white teeth.
"I'm in the class!!" She announced happily. "I'll show you the way but I have to stop in the office first"
To say I was relieved would be an understatement I wouldn't be walking in alone. The boy seemed to be kind of shy compared to the girl.
"Oh yeah! By the way, I'm Landon, and this is James! He's kind of an introvert" she said with a wink.
"Landon, and James." I recited attempting to register both of there names so I wouldn't forget. "I'm Mitchell"
"Well Mitchell, welcome to Ridge Grove!" With that she started down the hall at a steady pace James trailing behind her.
We arrived at the office a minute later, Landon and James marched in, well Landon marched, James just padded slowly. They told me to wait outside. They came out a moment later with late slips in there hands. Then they walked straight to what I assume was the C wing. James entered in a classroom without saying goodbye and we continued to walk until we reached the end of the hall. Then Landon turned and flung open the door of the class.
"Hello Mr. Burton! I apologize for being late, my exuberant brother forgot to awaken Levi" she announced loudly.
"Why hello miss DeJong, thank you for gracing us with you exuberant presence. Now I'm sure an English teacher would have enjoyed your use of big words, if you would have used the word correctly. Let's talk about the word exuberant. Would you like to take a seat?" The teacher replied.
"Wait wait wait, I found a child in a cardboard box in the woods and I decided to take him in as my own." She said dramatically pointing at me. "Actually no, I just found him wondering the halls like a lost puppy, he's new."
"You must be Mitchell, seeing as you have been taken under Landon's oh so delicate wing, you shall sit by her in the back." The teacher said, Landon grabbed my hand and began pulling me up to the back of the class and we clambered into seats.
"So, exuberant. The word means cheerful and happy. I'm assuming you meant the word to mean lazy, or forgetful. Let's analyze this word as a class shall we, so let's take a look at the prefix, ex." The teacher began, I quickly lost interest and started doodling. Landon pulled out a notebook and wrote a short note.
I'm EXtremely bored of the lession. I know what the prefix Ex means and it only reminds me of Chandler.
-Landon D.The note read, she then slid the notebook to her left toward the girl sitting next to her. The girl had medium length blond hair and brown eyes. She was pretty but not even close to as pretty as Landon. The notebook was quickly passed back with a new note added on in pink pen.
IKR. I hate learning about root words and stuff. Do you think we would be learning this third grade stuff if we went to Brecken? No.
-Jamison L.
P.S. Chandler is soooo not worth wasting your thoughts about. Are you still not over that ugly worm man??
