James POV:
Last night was the best night ever. Seriously ever. Madison slept at my house! MY
HOUSE.Before everyone got home we talked for hours about life and stuff and neither of us were nearly as shy as we were before. We didn't really discuss anything too personal but I still felt like I got to know her a lot better.
The car ride to school was awkward. I guess maybe because the car was a little crowded and Madison was squished up next to me. Really close. But I liked it. I liked her. A lot.
Mitchell looked awkward too. His face was kind of flushed and his backpack was placed on his lap. I knew what that meant. Landon didn't seem to notice, or if she did she ignored it. She was tracing his hand with her fingers softly and writing her name in his palm.
Then she pulled her and away and started talking to Madison. Mitchell looked like he was in pain, and struggling not to just grab her. I chuckled. I guess I knew the feeling. If only I wasn't so shy.
When we got to school we were early. Actually early for once. We loitered in the C wing for the time before class just chit chatting and eating food from the vending machines.
When the warning bell finally rang we were all sort of full and definitely not in the mood for class.
My teacher looked pleased to see me on time when I collapsed into my desk chair next to Carissa who was giving me a weird expression.
"You smell yummy" she said weirdly. I gave her a look and then started doodling.
I drew The Notorious BIG in my notebook in a cartoony kinda way, with a shirt that didn't cover his big belly all the way.
"Is that biggy?" Carissa asked, I was surprised she knew who he was. I raised and eyebrow at her.
"You listen to 90's rap?" I asked astonished.
"Just because I look like Taylor swift doesn't mean I listen to her!" She said swishing her blond hair back. She did kind of look like Taylor swift. But curvier.
"What your favorite song by him?" I asked quietly since the lesson had started.
"Hypnotize, or old thing back but the matamo remix of old thing back" she replied coolly. I gawked at her.
"Do you like Wu-tang?" I asked
"Of course! Bring The Ruckus boy!" She replied showing me that the cover of her notebook had the Wu-tang Clan's gold "W" on the front.
Holy snickers. She's actually chill.
The rest of the class I just drew and thought about what food they were serving for lunch. Until the bell finally rang.
