Mitchell's POV:
It was morning and only a few people where still here.
Abigail being one of them.
She was really pretty when she slept. But not as pretty as Landon. Why do I always think about Landon? I rolled off of my hammock and woke everyone up.
"Ha det bra, takk skal du ha" Abigail said to me as she left. I chuckled assuming it was Norwegian. Last night we had been talking and she told me that she spoke Norwegian. I thought that was really cool. She taught me 8 words. The two she had just said were goodbye and thank you. I scrambled to think of how to respond.
"Vær så god" I finally said, meaning you're welcome.
"Hey I'll see you at my game this weekend won't I?"
"Of course" she said smiling and with that she gave me a quick kiss, blushed feverishly and ran off.
Now I had the house to myself. Freedom. Not that there was much to do.
I decided to go for a walk. I walked around my neighborhood a few time and then decided to walk to town.
It was about a 20 minute walk at the slow pace that I was going. There were a bunch of little shops and restaurants all over. It busied with people, mostly elderly but then there was the occasional child and pregnant woman.
A group of rowdy looking kids skateboarded down the sidewalk clumsily. They looked like 7th graders so around 13. They received several shouts from old ladies, barks from dogs, and honks from cars to which they responded with there middle fingers. I laughed. That used to be me.

Saturday
6:30am I bolted up. My alarm had only beeped once. I turned it off and jumped out of bed. Today was the biggest hockey game of the season. I had just barely made it onto the varsity team and I seriously needed to secure my spot.
I quickly did 20 push ups and 40 sit ups quickly before I ran to the bathroom and brushed my teeth.
I hopped in the shower and took the quickest shower I'd ever taken before running to the kitchen.
My mom was awake but looked surprised to see me up.
"Mitch, it's 7:30" she said astonished.
"Hockey game today" I responded quickly as I made myself six eggs, two pieces of toast, and 15 strips of bacon. She nodded. I always act paranoid before a big game.
I shoveled the food down and then texted James while I waited for my food to settle.
From: Mitch
To: James
Hey boy, ready for the big game today?
He texted back quickly showing that he was just as paranoid as I was. He woke up early too.
From: James
To:Mitch
Yes, of course. I'm freaking out a little. About to go for a run.
From: Mitch
To:James
Same bro, same. Can I hitch a ride?
From: James
To: Mitchell
Yeah yeah boy, I got chu.
With that I ended the conversation and decided to text Abigail. We had been talking non-stop since we met earlier this week.
From: Mitch
To: Abbi
Hey, I'm so stoked to see you at my game today! You're still going right?
She didn't text back right away so I decided to go for a run and check when I got back.
I ran for about an hour and worked up a good sweat. The outside air was cold and crisp. A good refresher. The run helped me calm down a bit from my paranoid state. When I got back I had two texts.
From: Abbi
To:Mitch
Hey, yeah I am still going of course!! I can't wait to see you play!
From: Madison
To: Mitch
Hey, I won't be able to make it to your game today. I don't have the heart to tell James. Please tell him for me.
The one from Madison confused me. Why couldn't she make it? She had been rather distant this past week, but then again, she was always quiet. Maybe she is sick.
I decided not to tell James so that it wouldn't hurt his performance in the game.
