James POV:
When I got to my room I found Landon crying in her bed.

I decided to let her cry in peace.

"I'm going to Noel's" I told her. And then I left.

Hey bro, where u @? Wanna chill?

I texted.

From: Hommie Boi Noel
To: James
At Mitchell's party still, I was just about to leave tho, meet you at my house.

I knew I couldn't take the car but Noel lived close so I figured I could bike.

"Biking is for squares" I muttered to myself as I grabbed my skateboard. Deciding not to bike.

It look a half hour to get to Noel's on a skateboard.

He was already there smoking on the porch.

"Aye buddy" Noel said blowing out a long steam of smoke. Noel was the one who got me into smoking. I'm not a big smoker though, it could damage my performance as an athlete. Noel wasn't either.

"Let's go inside its cold out"
I said. He threw his cigaret on the ground and walked toward the door.

We fell asleep pretty quickly. I was on the floor and he was on the couch.

I woke up the next morning with a slight headache. I wasn't hungover though, I hadn't had a sip of alcohol last night.

Noel on the other hand groaned loudly.

"So, freaking bright" he muttered painfully. I laughed.

"Come on big boy, get your ass out of bed" I said to him laughing.

"F*** youuuuu" he replied. "I'm never drinking again" he lied as he sat up and stumbled to the kitchen.

"Good morning baby," said Noel's older sister as she walked through the kitchen, keys in hand.

"Hey James, you must have got here late last night" she said smiling. "Anyways I have to go to work, mom with be home by 5 pm or so" and with that she was out the door.

"27, and she's still living at home" he chuckled.

"At least she has a job now" I said in her defense. She had a severe mental illness. Schizophrenia. She sees things that aren't actually there. Causing her to have trouble living on her own or holding a stable job.

Noel sighed and looked that the ground. Probably thinking about his sister.

"So black ops?" I suggested trying to snap him out of it
