In a warm and pleasant summer evening, on the 24th of December, there was a venue in Melbourne with its open doors welcoming an heterogenous group of people dressed up for a gala event; women and girls in their long and beautiful gowns, men and boys in their tuxedos. It was the only dress code accepted. The food was delicious, and the environment was captivating and warm. White long-haired Moses Smith, being the incredible host that he was, looked around, trying to locate anything or anyone missing, when he suddenly felt a touch on his shoulder. He turned his head to look in the direction of the person who had touched him.

"Michael, my son!" Moses exclaimed with a smile.

Michael was elegantly dressed in a black tuxedo, elegant shoes to match and a navy green tie to match with his wife's dress, who was away in a private room in the venue, getting their identical twin babies - Moses and Markus - to sleep.

"Anything missing, Abah-leh?" Michael questioned.

Moses smiled, satisfied and content. "Just my Dorcas." He sighed, a tear rolling down his eye.

Michael smiled. He never knew Dorcas personally but even before he wedded Miriam, Moses late-wife became alive in the stories and memories that the Smiths shared in their gatherings.

"I understand." Michael replied, he knew what it was like to lose a loved one, maybe not a spouse though.

Moses took a deep breath, keeping his silence. From a distance he noticed that Miriam walked toward them. "I'm guessing the twins are already asleep!" He informed Michael hinting to announce his wife's arrival.

"Why?"

Moses gestured toward Miriam who approached them. "Your wife is coming."

Michael smiled. It was funny that Moses referred to Miriam as Michael's wife and not as his own daughter. When Michael turned to look at Miriam, he was obviously smitten, receiving her with a side embrace; the two shared a kiss on the lips.

The woman exhaled in relief. "They are sleeping." She informed. "I never knew kids were this much trouble!" She disclosed, but not in complaint. "At a certain point you just want them sleeping all the time." Miriam giggled in the end.

"Feels like you ran a marathon." Michael noticed, intending to help her relax afterward.

Moses sensed their chemistry in the air. He knew that even though Miriam and Michael had two babies to look after, they were a young household. The two had been married for three years and already had many challenges ahead of them, and not only the babies. So, that it was important to leave them alone for a while.

"Children, I'll let you be." Moses announced, taking his leave.

Miriam and Michael watched Moses leaving them, their gaze carried some worries that were shared in private in the beautiful garden outside - part of the venue -, that nobody used.

It was a starry night, but they wouldn't know because of the illumination that lit the garden area. A soft breeze brushed through Miriam's hair as she sat on her husband's lap.

"Remember when you said that if you had the chance to move back to Melbourne you would move in a heartbeat?"

Miriam opened her mouth, but her starry-eyed gaze did all the talking.

"Ever since you told me that, I've been studying a way to move back here." He revealed.

"Aw! Really?!" Miriam couldn't find him sweeter.

"Yeah." He nodded.

"And," she looked in his eyes, "did you find a solution, my favorite business man?"
