Chapter 8 - Misunderstanding

~Yanade's POV~

"Eh? What happened to the girl-who-almost-beat-me?"

That voice... Blackstar!!

I turned around and faced him.

I gulped. Almost? So, it didn't affect him?

"Yuri-nee!!" I heard Hana shout. She ran as fast as she can to Yuri's side. "A-are you alright?!"

Yuri coughed a bit of blood as her eyes got teary. "I'm fine. I'm fine..." She said.

". . . " -Blackstar

"Tsubaki...what exactly did you do?" He said to Tsubaki.

"Err...etto..." She stammered "I...stabbed her." She said.

"Was it deep?" Blackstar said.

"Hai...a bit."

". . ." Blackstar scratched his head "You shouldn't do things if I didn't tell you to do it."

"H-hai...but I was panicking 'cause I thought...I thought--"

"That I was dead? Do you not know who I am? I am..." Blackstar said and continued on with his I-AM-GREATER-THAN-GOD speech.

"Err...sorry to interrupt, but..." I said "Y-yuri is..."

"Hmm?" Blackstar faced me "Ahh...so her name's Yuri huh?" He said ignoring me.

"Umm--" I tried again but was cut off by Tsubaki.

"Well, you don't have to worry. Just bring her to the clinic. I'm sure that Stein-sensei or Nygus-san will take care of her wound." She said.

"Ah..." Oh right...I was panicking so much I forgot about Stein!...argh, I'm an idiot

"W-well then...I'll be going now..." I muttered and slowly lifted Yuri; she grunted.

"Ah! Please let me take care of that...it is, after all, my fault." Tsubaki said then smiled.

"N-no..." I said slightly getting embarrassed "I can do it..."

"Ah! But--" She said.

"It's fine...Tsubaki-san is a girl, after all." I said smiling at her.

"Uhm..o-ok then." She said "But let me at least guide you to the clinic."

I thought about it for a moment, well...that's fine. I don't know how to get there anyway... I thought.

"Sure, thanks."

She smiled and lead the way.

After that, Hanna helped me in carrying Yuri. Bridal style. I followed Tsubaki through the very confusing building, with Hanna by my side of course.

Blackstar stayed back, saying he had to "help" Soul and Maka get out of the rope. I'm not sure whether he's really gonna do it or...do something else. Suki stayed behind, as well. She said she was too worn-out to walk, and that she'll look out for Blackstar--just in case.

I shrugged it off thinking that it wasn't that important, considering Yuri having a Life-or-Death situation going on right now.

After a while, we arrived at the clinic. Tsubaki knocked then, without recieving an answer, entered; Hanna and I quietly following behind.

"Stein-sensei? Nygus-san?" She said; looking around.

After going through all of the beds, Tsubaki returned. "They aren't here. I'll go call them, just lay Yuri-san in one of the beds. I'll be back right away."
