~Yanade's POV~
Oh no.
I made Yuri--No, Crysantha--cry.
Gripping my hands into balls, I gritted my teeth.
Anger swelling up, bubbling inside me.
Sorry, Crys. Really, I am sorry.
I just...I still have things I need to know.
Still have things I have to find out.
On my own.
I...
I'm the worst.
As if being in a coma wasn't bad enough.
As if being alone here wasn't bad enough.
I just had to do it.
I really am the wors--
"Dear master, there you are," An eerie voice said.
My whole body tensed up. Instinctively, I braced myself to whatever force may or may not be coming at me.
"Who's there?" I screamed, turning around.
The moment I did, I almost slammed my face into a door.
*ehem* A huge door.
I backed up, bringing my fists out defensively.
"That wasn't there a while ago," I muttered to myself. "...right?"
After a while, with the voice not saying anything else, I viewed it as my imagination.
Putting both of my hands on my hips, I stared at it.
Hmmm...
Without anything else coming at me, I inspected it thoroughly. Going around it and what not.
True enough, there was nothing suspicious about it. Nor anything about it that I have to take note on.
It was just a black door.
Though--from what I've encountered for the last 10 seconds--when you go nearer, the color changes into a dark violet, not just black anymore.
The front of the door was decorated with neatly carved spirals and curves. Some bigger than the others, some smaller than the others, and some outlined with dots.
Of course, like any other door, there would always be a door knob. And the door knob wasn't all that special either. It was, again, just a regular one. Shiny golden ray, it was. Like the color was tempting me to open it and see what was inside.
But what's in front of me was a floating purple door.
This ain't no Monster Inc. 3. I ain't trusting this sh*t.
"What are you waiting for, Goushujin-sama?" The voice returned, even louder than the first time. "The door is for you to open."
Goushujin-sama = Master
I didn't need my magical guessing powers for this one.
In my mind, I kind of felt something weird was gonna happen.
For a while, only my scream was heard in the vast space of darkness.
And, dude, for your information, you can't blame me.
I almost kissed the motherf*cker.
"What the hell are you?" I shouted at an even higher tone, moving back.
