~Tyshi's POV~
[One day after]
"Urgh." I tasted the pain of falling to the floor once again. My legs were shaking. My body was about to turn off at any moment.
But I got up again.
Yeah. That's just how I roll.
Wobbling, I got near the wall and pulled on the curtains to balance out.
"Dammit." I cursed, trying to straighten out my legs.
Why the hell won't they walk when I tell them to?
I was about to go back to the starting point, but something stopped me.
"Woah, now." A voice errupted from the front door.
Tsk. I got caught.
Dropping all the bandages she was carrying to to a table, Nygus-san ran up to me as fast as she could. Knowing her, she was at my side immediately. "Are you okay?"
"F-fine." I pushed her away "Leave me alone. I can do this..."
I was rewarded with a flick on the head.
"O-ow! Why, Nygus-san, why?" I cried, patting the spot.
"Because you're being unreasonable. I like people who try their best at everything, don't get me wrong. But I hate little children who doesn't know when to stop trying and rely on an adult for a change." She said, her arms on either side of her hips "Sit down."
I did what she said and sat down on a stool.
If I didn't...well, let's just say all hell would break loose.
"Ah, you over-worked again," she told me, examining my knees "Look, it's bleeding."
"I just want to start walking as soon as possible." I admitted.
"And you will. It will just take some time. And as I've always said, one year is the shortest. You can't do it in 10 months, much less 6." Nygus-san said while she removed my old bandages and started to clean the wound "Tsk. I told you not to go here early and practice your ass off but do you listen?"
I ignored her last comment.
"HALF A YEAR!" I announce.
"Dream on." She said, throwing the bandages to the trashcan.
"Nygus-san!"
She just really loves to ruin my goal, now doesn't she?
"You're really mea--argh!" I put a fist over my mouth, trying not to scream as loud.
"Sorry." She apologized. "Bear with it for a while."
Oh, great... I thought, getting my hanky and biting onto it.
After an excruciating 5 minutes of getting the artificial joint clasp out of my...well, leg joint...I breathed in gulps of air. She put the clasp on some water and replaced my left joint with a new clasp.
With some nice warning this time.
The moment she finished...and started dressing my left (then right) knee with fresh bandages, she flicked my head. Again.
"Stop adding work for me, would ya?"
I could only nodd in reply. My voice exhausted.
Finally, she stood up and went to get her stuff. She was about to pile up the bandages she left on the table--to be put inside the stock room--but I stopped her and put a hand to her face, telling her to wait.
