~Yanade's POV~
"Th-This is your plan?!" Suki screamed angrily, looking at us from the back of Black star.
"Well, y'know," I shrugged, keeping up. "You didn't actually believed that we could survive that? I mean--"
"Okay, my fault." Itchii raised his hand--one that wasn't firing at the huge rock-ball following us. "I admit it, okay, Yanade? Let's just get to the Cabin without bleeding to death."
I nodded in truimph, running faster so I can be even with him. "There we go. Good boy." I smiled and was returned with the blankest are-you-f*cking-kidding-me face possible.
"With that done and over with," I say, ignoring him. "Black star! Where's the quickest possible route going to the Cabin?"
We all turned to look at him.
Even Suki who's having a hard time right now.
"Wh-what? Why me?" He asked, baffled, not even breaking a sweat with the added weight on to him.
"Maybe because you've been here the longest?'' I asked sarcastically then waved my hands everywhere "C'mon, c'mon!"
He thought for a moment then smirked.
The famous I-am-the-great-Black-star smirk.
"Follow me."
We all sighed in relief and went at an even faster pace--just to catch up with him.
Okay. You might be asking questions right now. Questions that you wouldn't have commented so I'll just say it. Truth is, we went with Black star's plan (shocking, I know)--without Suki knowing.
The pretend-to-fight-then-suddenly-run-like-hell-and-go-to-the-cabin-without-dying plan.
Reckless, yes, but standing ground was kinda...y'know...
The outcome was evident, so...
Well anyway, we've made it this far. The plan's awesome. I just hope I don't actually trip.
Like Suki.
Yes, yes and yes. That's why Black star is carrying her--'cause, admit it. Out of all of us he has the highest stamina. Itchii had his whole right arm transformed into half of the sub-machine gun already. And I...well I was running like there was no tomorrow.
Kidding, kidding. I've pretty much missed running so this is just like, me enjoying the good old days.
Okay, okay, back to the topic. Sometimes I would give Itchii a boost and he'd be in mid-air, showering bullets to the graveler-wanna-be. Then it'd slow down. But we'd only do that if it'd actually catch up to us. Curse that Golem.
"This way!" Black star shouted, entering some woods.
I nodded. "Got i--!?"
Okay. The inevitable has happened.
You know when you're watching a scary movie and the protagonist is running away with some good distance away from whoever is chasing him/her but then suddenly he/she trips. Then the monster/killer/ghost/psychopath takes this chance to kill him/her?
Yes! Friday the 13th! That scene exactly!
Jason Voorhees, you pr*ck.
So, yeah, that part. Well...that happened. Only this time there was no great/amazing Black star to scoop me down just as fast and continue running (like Suki's accident), no. There was no time for that.
