As I drove towards Jack's house, Luke was rambling. "Does he have any pets? Why does he live in the middle of the woods? Does he like being alone?" I just ignored the questions and continued to drive. "Hey Rebecca, will Lilith be there, too? She was nice. And pretty," He said. "Yea, she will help us at times," I responded, and the car was silent the rest of the way.
When I pulled up into the driveway, I didn't not expect to see Lilith hopping out of a red SUV. I stopped the truck and got out. "Hey!" I called. She turned around and waved. I helped Luke out of my truck and I ran to catch up to her. "Hello," she greeted us. I nodded and Luke waved. We both knocked on the door.
"Well, bye Jack, see you in a month." I said, out on the front porch. After getting here, we came in just before Jack started to put his suitcases in the car. "Thank you guys for watching g my house," he said opening the car. I nodded, and he got in and drove off. I walked back inside and sat down on his couch. I turned in the TV and watched 'Ghost Adventures' on Travel Channel. Luke had fallen asleep and Lilith was in the guest room on her laptop. I layed down and went to sleep.
I woke up the next morning because Lilith decided she would go out and get food while we stay here. So, I had to stay up with Luke. He was eating lunch (I woke up late) and I was on my laptop. I was doing homework and watching YouTube at the same time. Since I wasn't good at multitasking, I ended up not finishing my homework and watching YouTube videos. Then, my phone started ringing, and when I answered it, Lilith sounded upset and a little frantic. "Slow down. What did you say?" I asked.
