Luke and I sat in the cafeteria at the hospital when Lilith walked in. "How's your dad?" She asked. "They took him into the emergency room for surgery. Something flared up in his brain." I said bluntly. She shook her head, "Well, I'm gonna order a salad, so I'll be right back." I nodded and bit into my sandwich. I ordered a sandwich with some chips and water while Luke just got Dr. Pepper and doritos. He stood up. "Where ya going buddy?" Lilith asked, as she sat down next to me. He pointed towards the hallway, and noticed he pointed towards the bathroom. I nodded, and left. "Where's Kaylee?" I asked. Lilith shrugged. "She was gone when I woke up." I nodded.

We sat in the waiting room together after finishing our 'breakfast.' I was getting worried. Dad went into surgery at six A.M. It was now nine. Lilith was making some coffee at the little machine thing that was always in waiting rooms. Luke was playing a gamr on my phone and I was reading. Well, more like staring at the book as I thought. Around a few hours later, maybe two hours, when a nurse came in. "We are going to have to keep him over night and check on his healthy every so often. You can stay or go home. We'll call you if anything happens if you leave," she told me out in the hallway. I told her we would leave, because I didn't want Luke to have to stay there. He was getting restless.

When we got home, we entered, and everything was dark. "When did we get black curtains?" I asked. Lilith shook her head, "We didn't." We took them down, and set them in the basement. Lilith left and I stayed down there. I looked through the boxes that were down there. I found a camcorder. It seemed new. There was one video. I clicked on it. It was my dad, looking down a steep, around 14' hill. The person recording slowly got closer, and pushed him down. The video was taken the day Dad went to the hospital. He was right. The person chuckled deeply, sounding vaguely familiar. My dad had landed on a rock, and looked unconscious. I was scared. Frightened. I put it down, and before I could turn around and go back upstairs, I heard a scream. It was high-pitched and I guessed it was Lilith. I ran upstairs. Kaylee stood in the middle of the room. She looked like she saw a ghost. Little did I know, that was almost true. "I...I..." Kaylee muttered.
