-Break finished and everyone is back etc. You are in the common room currently studying for OWLs with Pansy, Draco, and Blaise.-
I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. Even though I studied this ever since break started I can't quite wrap my brain around it. I slumped into the couch and exhaled frustrated. "You okay N/N," Pansy took notice of my frustration.
"Not at all," I huffed.
"Didn't you study this during the break," Blaise asked.
"Yes, yes I did." I closed my notebook and stacked them neatly.
"What are you doing?" Draco furrowed his brows.
"Going to see if I can find a book in the library," I said.
"You searched there about a hundred times though," He reasoned.
"Maybe I missed it, I'll be right back guys," I picked up my books and walked out of the common room. I quickly made my way down the hall when I bumped into someone. I scrambled to gather all my books and papers. "Sorry, I really need to watch where I'm going. I-"
"What is this?" a voice that could only belong to one dreadful person. I looked up to see Dolores holding up the enchanted galleon and my heart plummeted to my stomach.
"That's uh- It's a," I stammered and fumbled with my pockets, it must have fallen out when I bumped into her. She grabbed my shoulder and pulled me to my feet.
"You are coming with me," She started dragging me and before I knew it we were in her horridly pink office. "Now, Y/N I am giving you one last chance to tell me what this is," She said sternly. There was no way out of this, no excuse I could make. My last resort was to just keep my mouth shut and pray that I wouldn't break. I stayed silent and her face twisted in disapproval. "Tch, maybe after writing some lines you'll rethink your behavior." She unrolled a blank scroll and gave me the blood quill to write with; I bit nervously on my lip knowing what was next. "Now," She sat down in her chair across from me. "Let's begin shall we?"
~
-Draco's P.O.V-
We clear the table of our books and loose scrolls, it was almost dinner time. Y/N hasn't come back from the library yet I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried. "Where do you suppose she is?"
"The library," Pansy said in a matter of fact tone.
"She's been there for hours," I stated.
"She might've lost track of the time Draco, after all she did seem pretty frustrated about the OWLs coming up." Blaise reasoned and I nodded in agreement.
"Come on we'll probably see her down in the great hall, she never misses dinner," Pansy laughed. I followed closely behind the two of them, trying to discretely look around for Y/N while we made our way to the Great Hall. By the time we got to the Slytherin table we've seen no sign of her, neither has anyone else we've asked. Being the nervous protective wreck that I am, I excused myself and decided to look for her. I walked down a few corridors and hallways then something caught my eye. I slowly walked towards a pile of books scattered on the floor. I picked up the notebook and opened it inside was Y/n's name neatly written on the front page. My hands shook and my head was spinning, the worse thoughts ran crazy through my mind. I whimpered her name; I didn't know where to start. I felt paralyzed no matter how much I tried to move my body wouldn't allow it.
-Your P.O.V-
I hugged my stomach tightly doubling over, I shivered with pain. A warm liquid ran down my arms and stained my uniform, I cried silently rocking back and forth. "Now tell me what is this galleon!" She shouted at me.
I mustered the strength to look up into her eyes, "Never." I croaked breathly heavily.
"A little Veritaserum will change that." She said searching through her drawers. She pulled out a small vile with a clear liquid, she swirled the contents of the vile slowly in a threatening way.
"B-but the use of it on students is forbidden!" I shrieked.
"Well now, now Y/N surely you know by now," She taunted. "The rules don't apply to me." She wore a sickly, deceivingly sweet smile. Just then there was a knock on the door and she cleared her throat. "Who's there?"
"Filch," was the reply.
"You may come in," She waved her wand and the door opened. There in the door way was Filch dragging along Marietta, one of Cho's giggly friends. She was pushed forward by Filch. Her gaze fell upon me with horror and she swallowed deeply and nervously. "Why did you bring her here?"
"I-I have some information on the D.A," She said quietly.
"No!" I shouted.
"The what?" Dolores questioned.
"Dumbledore's Army," Marietta looked down to the ground.
"What exactly is this army you speak of?"
"It's a group, Harry's teaching us defense against the dark arts," She mumbled.
I tried to lunge at her but some force pushed me back into the chair, "Marietta you can't do this!"
"I have to you wouldn't understand Y/N, my parents are important people! If I'm found with them my parents could lose everything!" She shot at me.
"Oh so you think my parents aren't important people? My parents have high positions in the Ministry, I care about them and I know I could ruin everything but this is bigger than us Marietta. Things are happening whether they try to hide it from us or not." I looked at Dolores accusingly. "You don't know what you're doing..."
"I know exactly what I am doing."
"So where are these students hiding," Dolores asked.
"Marietta please don't do this." I pleaded with her, and she looked at me with guilt.
"They meet up in the Room of Requirements," She exhaled. "Tonight."
A/N: Not the best of chapters I've been rushed and had a few speed bumps.
