An Unexpected Visitor

A/N: I was going to save this update for another time....BUT I finished editing it today so I was like I need to post it now! I don't think you'll complain though so yeah xD. Uh yursh if you have any questions let me know I'm open to message I don't bite :P. And I changed this chapter a lot from the quotev original version just so you know and all that jazz.

I adjusted my shoulder bag and sighed as we reached the red train. Adaline excitedly followed behind me. "I can't wait to see your house," She squealed. "And your brother will be there too you said?"

"Mhm he'll be there a day after we get there," I hummed. "Let's get on, if we want to get good seats." She nodded her head and we boarded the train. We neared a carriage and like a jack in the box, Millicent popped out one of them.

"Hey Y/N, Adaline," Millicent chimed.

"Hey Milli!" Adaline waved.

"There's a bit room still in this carriage if you want to ride with us," Millicent offered.

I shrugged, "Sure thanks." Adaline and I piled into the carriage. I sat next to Millicent, and Adaline sat in between Daphne and Astoria Greengrass. I tuned out of everyone's conversation and leaned against the window, before I knew it I had drifted off into a light sleep.

I felt a nudge on my shoulder; "Hey we're here now," Millicent shook me.

"Alright," I stretched and got up. I didn't need to worry about Adaline's and my luggage I had McGonagall send it to the house. We piled out of the train and onto the station, I looked around I saw the twins and they came over to say bye to me.

"Didn't think we'd let you leave without saying goodbye," George said crushing me with a hug.

"Uhm can't breathe," I squeaked.

"Mum said you should go stay with them she doesn't think it's good for you to be alone in a big house." George said, releasing me from the hug.

"Well I'll go over after a week; I promised Adaline I would bring her to see the house." I shrugged and looked at Fred before he gave me a hug which I returned in a bit of awkwardness. "I need to visit you two anyways need to stock up on pranking supplies."

"Ahh welcome to the crew fellow prankster you have much to learn." Fred joked I just laughed in return. As I pulled away from the hug I saw Draco looking this way from the corner of my eye. I whipped my head in his direction, our eyes locked for an awkward moment. I was about to call him out but he turned around. "What you looking at?"

"N-nothing Uh I'll see you guys later, I think we should get going now," I said and nudged Adaline and she followed me. We came to a black car which I remember my dad drove last year to pick me up. I sighed, "Hop in kiddo." I said and pulled out keys from my bag.

"You can drive this?" She gasped as I turned the key in the ignition.

"Well I drove it before with my dad," I answered. "Of course I did crash a few times..." Adaline's eyes widened.

"Just pulling your leg," I mused. "I drove it once, and I know the rules of the road, all that boring stuff. It shouldn't be difficult. Riding a Thestral is much worse," I huffed and began driving.

"Thestral?"

"Long story."

"Long drive."
