A few days passed, and Jonahs mom began to feel the effects of withdrawal. She refused to go to a rehab, she wanted to do it on her own. So after a few days, when it began calming down a bit Jonah took her home.

He didn't want me coming over, so for a week I didn't see him at all. He would call me every night telling me she was getting better and how much he missed me.

Finally once the week was over, we planned to hangout. "Tomorrow? Come over and we can hang out," He asked. I accepted of course. My heart fluttered at the idea of seeing him. I went to bed, a smile on my face.

When I woke up, my heart was still fluttering. I did my hair and makeup for a change.

I walked to his house, but as I walked I couldn't help but feel like someone was following me. I looked back but saw no one.

I got to his house and went to knock on the door, but I felt something touch my back.

"Go open the door, don't scream or else I pull the trigger," My heart started beating faster than I ever thought possible. I didn't want to open the door, I couldn't.

"Open it!" He said jabbing the gun farther into my back. I did as he said. I hoped that Jonah wasn't home, but I knew that wasn't true.

The man shut the door behind us, locking it. "Penny! Where are you?" The man screamed, it was the man from the hospital I thought to myself. I was shaking, my heart beating a mile a minute.

Jonah, and his mom both walked down the stairs, fear filled their eyes the second they saw us.

"Andy what are you doing here? Let her go," Penelope said.

"Let her go! Now! You're going to regret ever laying a hand on her."

"Are you forgetting im the one with the gun? Now here take these ropes and tie you and your mother to these chairs. Or else im going to kill this precious girlfriend of yours."

Jonah looked into my eyes, he was as terrified as I was. He tied his and his moms hands to the chairs, Andy pushed me into a chair next to them, tying my hands behind me.

"Im so sorry Lorelei," Jonah said to me.

"What do you want from us Andy?" Penelope asked.

"I just want to know why you didn't call me when you got out of the hospital? I wasn't allowed to visit you. I came back everyday and then one day they said you went home. So I waited for a call, didn't get one. What do you think you're to good for me now that your sober?"

"I just didn't think it was a good idea. I want to be sober I don't want to be high all day anymore. I actually want to get to know my son," She said.

"I like you better when you're high. You're A lot less emotional," He opened his coat pocket opening a little bag, exposing a needle filled with heroin.

"Don't you touch her!" Jonah said.

"Would you rather I give it to your girlfriend?" He grabbed my chin, I shook my head to get his hand off.

"No just give it to me," Penelope said.

He walked over to her, wrapping a tie around her arm. He stuck the needle  in. I could see Jonahs fists clench up, but as I looked closer I noticed he had a knife he was trying to cut the rope.

Andy looked at me, he had a crazy look in his eye that terrified me. "Come on lets have some fun, You look like someone who likes to have fun," He cut my ropes and lifted me up, pushing me onto the sofa he sat next to me.

Jonah grew even more angry. Andy put his hand on my thigh. I pushed it off.

"Keep your filthy hands off me," I said.

"Wow shes a feisty one isn't she?" Andy said.

Jonah looked at me, he motioned his eyes toward the back door.

"Lorelei run!" Jonah jumped out of the chair coming at Andy with a knife, I got up and started running. I didn't want to look back. I ran through the woods. I began to hear loud footsteps behind  me as I approached the lake, I turned around, I saw it was Andy, and he his gun was to my back before I could even process it.

"Please, just let us go," I pleaded.

"I cant do that, you weren't even suppose to be here, you're just collateral." Where was Jonah? Was he dead?

"Im sorry that this had to happen," Andy lifted the gun, I felt a sharp pain across my head, and then blackness came.

I could see myself, but it wasn't me know. It was when I was 5, my mom and dad came up from behind, each grabbing a hand of mine. I looked around at all of the animals. I remember this day, it was the first time I went to the zoo, I was so excited. Why was I seeing this? Am I dreaming? Wake up Lorelei.

I shook myself awake, but part of me wish I didn't. I wasn't dreaming, I was dying. I was drowning.

I spit water out of my mouth panicking, I began doggy paddling. "Lorelei!" Jonah came running down, Andy was nowhere in sight.

Jonah swam to me grabbing me, and helping me to the land. I started coughing up water, but I was happy to be alive.

"Jonah look out!" I screamed, as I saw Andy come up slowly with the gun, Jonah jumped up pulling out a gun for himself.

"Please just put the gun away, I don't want to kill you," Jonah pleaded.

"I cant do that," I heard a gunshot, but whos gun was it?

Andy fell down, I breathed a sign of relief.

Jonah turned around towards me, his face was drained of color as he grabbed his stomach and fell to the floor.

"Jonah!" I ran over to him, the blood began to come out of him. I held him in my arms.

"I love you Lorelei," He said, tears began filling my eyes.

"No, you are not allowed to leave me yet."

I saw red and blue lights flashing, and people came rushing down. They began checking Andy and Jonah over.

   "He's dead."
