Chapter 1: Crushes and Coincidences

Hey!! So I am super exited to write this story. A million ideas are going on in my head. But please keep in mind that this is my first ever story. Also feel free to comment on any suggestions or ideas. I hope you like it!!! Also I want Laura to have natural highlights cause I love her hair highlighted and thought she would look great with them as a child and pre-teen as well as a teen (not that she didn't look great without them). Thanks!!!

Laura's P.O.V

 There I was in my living room talking to my older sister Vanessa about boys.

 "So how is it going between you and Ross", she asked.

 "We are not dating you idiot", I said as I threw a pillow at her.

 "Come on Laur. It is so obvious that he likes you and you know you like him back." Vanessa was the only one who knew about my crush on Ross. Well her, my mom, and my best friends Dove and Rydel. And yes Rydel is Ross' older sister. Dove was on a trip to Hawaii and she was gonna be there for a few more months.

 So this is how it all started:

 *flashback* 

Age 5, 8 years ago: 

  "Come on Laura its time for school", my mom shouted from downstairs. 

I couldn't wait for school. It was my first day of kindergarten. I heard in school you get to learn about everything there is to learn about. 

I ran downstairs as fast as possible. "Mom am I going to make any friends in school", I asked impatiently.

 "Of course you are sweetie. There is one boy your age who's mom I am friends with that you will have a great time with. His name is Ross. And he has 4 siblings that you might find very fun to play with."

 And with that we drove off to kindergarten. After we arrived my mom and a woman, who mom said was Ross' mom named Stormie, were talking. I looked down beside Stormie only to find a boy who was a bit taller than me but about the same age.

 "Hi I am Laura", I said as I held my hand out for him to shake. 

"Nice to meet you, I am Ross" he said while shaking it.

 *flashback*

 And that was a start of a beautiful friendship.We became best friends. A few years later I started developing feelings for him. 

*flashback*

 Age 11, 2 years ago

"Hurry up Laura", Ross shouted as he impatiently waited for me to get ready so we could go to the park with his siblings and my sister.

 "Coming" I shouted back as I carelessly ran down the stairs as fast as I could.

 I don't know what got into me but I ran down so fast that I tripped from the fifth step to the bottom and would of gotten seriously hurt if my best friend wasn't standing there. I fell straight on top of him as we both landed on the floor causing me to land on top of him.

 I don't know what happened but as soon as my body touched his I felt sparks. That was the moment I realized I had a crush on him. 

Snapping out of my thoughts I quickly said "I am so sorry, are you okay." He must of been lost in his thoughts too cause right after that he said " uh-what, oh yeah I'm fine."

 After that we walked outside to find the rest of our siblings and got in the car. Everyone was talking except me and Ross. They were talking about a majority of things but my mind was only focused on one. As much as I'd hate to admit it, I have to face the facts: I have a crush on Ross Lynch
