Ashton: Your table was set beautifully, the smell of fresh pasta filling the room so delicately. It was Friday night, the weekly night you set aside to just have to yourself. Except, for the past 2 weeks, Ashton hadn't shown up. Instead, he would come home 4 hours after you had gone to bed. He has been so distant lately you didn't know if it was because he didn't love you anymore or if it was just stress. Still, you felt like you needed some form of explanation, but you didn't expect it anytime soon. To pass time, you rearranged everything on the table over and over again and before you knew it, hours had gone by. Your hand hurt from resting your head against it while you sat at the table. The smell of cold food now filled the room. You sighed to yourself, getting the Tupperware out and put the food away. There was still no sign of your boyfriend. You found yourself yawning and decided to just go to bed. It was mentally exhausting waiting for him, but there was no use in waiting for someone who you felt didn't even respect you enough to talk to you.

Michael: We'll do date night next week... Just meet me there... I promise I won't forget... Your mind repeated his lies as you waited in the lobby of the movie theater for the past hour and there was still no sign of him, nor was he answering his phone. You couldn't put up with it anymore and by the time you got home you couldn't believe what you saw. Low and behold, there was Michael with his friends in the living room playing video games. "Are you kidding me?" You said angrily, crossing your arms over your chest. Michael didn't even look over, "Y/N not right now." You were offended, how dare he tell you "not right now" when he just ditched you. "Not right now? You have to be kidding me Michael. This is so typical of you! Did you forget that we had a date tonight?" When you said it, he finally paused his game and saw that you weren't messing around. "Shit, I'm so sorry-" "Don't waste your time apologizing because if you really cared about our relationship you wouldn't be an asshole." You couldn't bare to look at him anymore, so you left him high and dry with a slam to the door behind you.

Luke: You shoved as many clothes in your bag as possible, having to sit on it to make sure everything fit. Luke wasn't home and you had no idea when he would be home. He's been ignoring you to the extreme lately. You would wake up in the morning and he'd already be gone. When you get home, it's like you live by yourself because Luke doesn't get home until you're fast asleep. What's the use of being in a relationship if you're by yourself majority of the time anyway? Oh was he going to be in for a surprise when he got home...that's if he ever got home. You whined, pulling your heavy bag down the steps. "Y/N? What's all this?" You quickly turned, not having heard Luke walk in. "I'm leaving." You told him, pulling the bag on your shoulder. "What?" "I didn't stutter Luke," You spoke harshly, "I'm leaving because you can't expect me to stay around when you're never even here! We spend no time together and I'm sick of being in a relationship with myself." You walked toward the door, "No, please don't-" "Don't even Luke. It's way late for your bullshit." He was speechless and as you walked out the door, you didn't even bother looking back.

Calum: It had been 2 weeks since you officially broke up. You couldn't put up with it anymore, it was exhausting fighting all the time, not even being yourself. You're "perfect" relationship wasn't the same as what it used to be. You ended up kicking him out of your apartment, and it was lonely even in the short period of time; nothing was the same and you hated it. You sat in the familiar seat on your couch, watching TV when there was a knock at the door. When you answered it, you didn't know what to say. "Calum. What are you doing here?" You tried to sound strong and put together, when you actually weren't. "I uh, wanted to talk to you." "Well you can forget it." You wanted to talk things out, but you didn't want your heart broken again. You went to shut the door but his hand stopped you, "Please just hear me out. I made a huge mistake in doing what I did to you. But these weeks have royally sucked because I realized how much my life sucks without you." You sighed, opened the door slightly more, signaling him to come in. He pecked you on the cheek and walked in. You both knew you would work this out and it would all be worth it.
