Shay POV

Alisha and I began to walk down the stairs.

"WOOOH!!" I heard Carter say at the same time as a clap. I laughed.

Sydney squealed as I seen flashes going off indicating pictures were being taken. The brightness was blinding.

"GODDAMN!" Ky yelled.

"OHH. Yasssss!" Zechariah yelled.

"Awweeee. Look at my babies!" Mama T said as I heard sniffing.

I heard Mrs. Rose adorable squeal.

"My daughters are so beautiful" I heard Papa E say proudly.

"Oh fuck" I said as I felt the urge to start crying.

"AUWNTIEEE!!" I heard DJ's adorable voice.

"Look at my sisters!!" I heard Terez and Garrett say at the same time.

Everybody else made cute comments but I was so focused on not trying to mess up my makeup and make my face all red and puffy before my graduation.

Not crying was going to be real difficult.

I quickly realized that EVERYBODY was here.

Sevyn and her husband, Darnell and my babyyyy, Alisha and I's favorite cousin Shanel and auntie Mehgan along with a bunch of friends, cousins aunts, uncles and every other possible type of extended family.

It looked like we were having a damn concert in the foyer and it was like paparazzi or something. I had to cover my eyes for a second so we could go down the stairs as we laughed.

We barely made it to the bottom of the staircase before we were attached with hugs, kisses and special moments.

You couldn't put a price on this moment 😌.

I see Mama T and Papa E embrace Alisha with her brothers right behind her parents. I smile at the view.

Derek got to me first. He embraced me in a huge brotherly hug as I laughed and smiled.

My brother means so much to me. I swear on everything we're just like twins.

"You look so beautiful. I'm so proud of you sis... You came such a long way and now look at you.... I know Mom is real proud of you right now" he said with his arms wrapped around me with my head barely above his shoulder.

Fuck.

I put my hand over my face as I began to cry while I heard excited voices chatting all around me.

Dammit Derek.

"Awe. Don't cry" he said with a laugh as he started to rub my back gently while I cried.

I was eventually able to get it together.

He kissed my cheek "I love you baby sis".

I smiled as I wiped my face "I love you too".

"Hey! Give me some sugar!" I heard Mrs. Rose say.

I smile and come down to her small level. She had a cute little dress on 😊.

As soon as I touched her I felt like crying, as if a huge connection went thru us.

I covered my eyes again.
