The three disciplinary committee, along with their vampire entourage, crossed the eerie pathway. Candle lights mysteriously lighted their way and shown the vampires at the sides, holding their red drinks.

"So, they came huh" Ruka muttered with a frown.

"But, what for?" Rima asked. The vampires stared at them in caution. Some vampire held three knives but was stopped by another.

Yuki flinched at the stares she's receiving from them. Kimiko stared straight ahead and ignored them. If they choose to attack, then she'll gladly answer by their ashes.

"This way" Kain lead them towards the banquet table. Yuki peeked behind Kain's huge figure and sweat dropped when she saw the sparkling vampire named Takuma.

"Yuki, Zero! I'm glad you came! Please make yourselves at home. I'm throwing a little celebration for my birthday" Takuma said with his arms wide open, presenting the food and drinks behind him.

"Uhh...we came here for business.." Yuki couldn't help but explain.

"Oh! Kimiko-san, I'm glad you also made it" Takuma took a gamble and came in front of Kimiko. Staring blankly at the nervous vampire, Kimiko fished out something from her vest. Takuma visibly flinched as he expected something that might kill him, only to see a flat rectangular shaped gift that was perfectly wrapped in white and emerald green that matched his eyes.

"Happy Birthday" She simply greeted. Takuma, along with everyone stared in disbelief. With shaking hands, Takuma held the small gift with both hands, being careful not to drop it.

Aido gritted his teeth, glaring at the bright vampire. "Takuma! You lucky bartasrd!" He growled in frustration. His birthday already passed, that time Kimiko wasn't yet to be enrolled at Cross Academy, so he needed to wait for another year for him to invite his Goddess.

"K-Kimiko-sama..." Takuma looked at her in new light as tears of joy streamed down his face.

"It's nothing special, but I heard that you love reading so I brought you a book" Kimiko said, she didn't specify on what type of book it was, but if Takuma would open it later, he would be crying to the moon and back in utter bliss. It was actually Takuma's favorite manga, what he received is a volume that was yet to be released by the author, but Kimiko was the only person who had 5 books in advance because she knew the author. How did she knew all of this? No one knows....

"T-thank you, Kimiko-san" He sniffs, he wanted to hug her so bad but that might trigger his death.

"K-Kimiko-san, you knew it was his birthday?" Yuki asked. Kimiko silently nodded.

"How did he manage to invite her?" Everyone thought the same thing.

"U-umm, Ichijo-kun?" Yuki broke him out of trance.

"Huh? Oh, Yuki! I'm sorry, what was it that you wanted to ask?" Takuma cough, trying to shake out his excitement. Ohh he can't wait to open it later.

"I wanted to know more on what happened today" She said.

"Oh.." He expressed in disappointment.

"I wanna know on why you thought it was okay to destroy that level E. Isn't he a vampire like you guys?"

"Sorry to break you bubble, Yuki, but those things are not like us at all" Aido arrogantly explained, coming near the table and grabbed a glass of drink. He held one glass of champagne and gave it to Kimiko, beating Takuma in doing so. Kimiko accepted the drink, taking a sip at the cool beverage.

Yuki looks confused. "Huh?"

"Yuki, you must understand that the society of Vampires is ruled entirely by a few Purebloods and only a handful of Aristocrats." Holding two glassed, one contain a champagne that was red because of the blood tablets and the other is just plain champagne. He sigh, Aido already beat him and gave Kimiko her glass, he only needed to give Yuki and Zero a glass.
