Eric had hazel brown eyes and slightly curly hair to match his eyes. He had perfectly white teeth but a slightly crooked smile which gave him that cute innocent boy look.
"Hey, I'm really sorry Lizzy did that to you. She acts like that to pretty much all the new girls. Well the pretty ones at least." AWWWE he was blushing!! He looks so cute blushing!
"Uh its ok, I've been pushed around before so I'm used to it." The words awkwardly came out of my mouth in a quiet whisper. "T-thank you for helping me though..."
"Nah it's no problem, just let me know if she bugs you again and I promise that I'll make her stop."
Eric made me feel save but at the same time made my stomach do flips! This is crazy I should probably just avoid him since I'll just bring bad luck into his life. I just had to wait till the police found my uncle and put me under his care. What's better, living in an orphanage being bullied or live with a mentally unstable uncle? Hmm tough choice right? Right then Eric pulled me out of my thoughts when he waved his hand in front of my face. That might shake people out of daydreaming but to me it made me think my dad was about to hit me.
Eric's P.O.V.
This girl reminded me so much of Jamie I just wanted to protect her! I didn't even know her name but one thing was for sure, I had to keep her safe. She seemed to be lost in thought so I waved my hand in front of her face to catch her attention but she did something I didn't expect. She dropped down onto the floor and hid her face in her knees and screamed. "Oh crap are you ok?!? I'm so sorry did I do something wrong?!" I pulled her into my chest, slowly rocking her back and forth and letting her just cry.
By the time she finished, it was dark and she was asleep in my arms. I picked her up so she was being carried bridal style but being the lame super hero I am, I had to wake her up and ask, "Hey I'm seriously lame for asking this all late but what's your name and what room are you in?"
"Uhm my room is the attic..." She sounded beyond tired so I shrugged off the fact she lives alone up there. Well of course we have an average size orphanage but we are overcapacity but Ms. Helen doesn't have the heart to refuse a child. I kept having moments where I almost dropped her but we finally made it to the attic. When I opened the door it was almost completely bare except for the bed in the corner and a lamp on a bedside table. Other than that this huge room was empty! I put her down on the bed and tucked her in under the covers. "Hey uhm I don't want to leave you alone because of what happened earlier so I'll be right back with my sleeping bag and sleep on the floor ok?" This girl was too much like Jamie that it killed me I needed to protect her or I'll just die!
*knock knock* "Hey uhm.... well I'm coming in so don't freak out." I set up my sleeping bag and pillow down by her bed and was slowly falling asleep when I heard her speak.
"Ana... my name is Ana..." Ana...such a beautiful name. With Ana in my mind I slowly drifted off to the most peaceful sleep I've had since the incident from what happened six years ago.
