Eric's P.O.V.

As soon as Ana stared walking towards me all the anger in me just evaporated and was instead replaced with a smile. How could I be so angry at the most amazing person ever?

That's it! Whatever this is I'm feeling for her needs to end before I lose the only person I care about. It's time to tell her how I feel about her.

**

Ana said she had a ton of homework so we compromised to talk when she finished. This is so nerve wracking!! How do people do it in the movies?? Just go up to the person and straight up tell them how they make you feel happy and comfortable?! How am I supposed to tell her all this? Will she think I'm weird? Will she stop being my friend?

Idiot! Just tell her the truth and she'll lisen

No she won't. She'll think that you're so lame and will stop talking to you.

Ugh why is this so hard?!

There was a knock on the door interupting my mental argument.

"Come in."

Ana popped her head in and game me a warm smile, "Hey I finished my homework, wanna talk up in my room? There's snacks." She swiggles her eyesbrows. She looked like she had a worm on her face just dancing around on her eyebrows, after my laugh attack ended we made our way up to her room while talking about a book she recently read.

"Sooooo Eric before we get into this discussion can I ask you something?"

"Yeah Ana, anything."

"Why were you so mad at what happened at school? Cameron was the one who took me in there and started touching me and wouldn't let me leave. So why am I the bad guy?" Ana said with obvious sadness.

"Just let me tell you how I feel ok? Then you'll understand everything...ok here we go."

**Flashback**

Nothing was ever safe in this house after what happened with dad. Everything I ever loved and cared about shriveled up and was blown away in the wind as simple as that. Everything crumbling down before my eyes.

My family used to be happy, people would see us as the 'perfect family'. I being the twelve year old made me the role model to my brother and sister since I was the eldest. I had the straight A's and dad's good looks, along with mom's charm and calming nature. Daniel was seven year old middle child who got dad's athletic abilities and had more of my mom's looks, he had hazel skater hair and green eyes like our grandpa. Yeah, Daniel is one of those athletic nerds that girls would make fan clubs for. Finally sweet sweet little Jessica, our three year old sister who looked like mom in every way possible. She brought joy to everyone around her, her cute little smile and the way she talked could brighten up anyone's day. She had mom's sparkling gray blue eyes and gorgeous blonde hair. To top off the perfect kids, our parents were amazing together, not to mention completely in love! Mom was a model, with her beautiful curly blonde hair and bright gray blue eyes how could she not? She's not just a model, she was a well know model who traveled to different counties for photo shoots. Her height helped her already good looks but it's not like she needed any help when it came to the looks department. A lot of guys wanted mom to be with them but my parents were so in love that she would just ignore them as if they were merely a nuisance to her. Not only did guys want her but some women did too, along with being envied by them not only because she was a famous model but because they were jealous she had dad as a husband. Dad was a boxer and a mixed martial artist, other than that he was a police officer. Let's just say he's a fit officer with great looks.

Women would come over to the house to 'thank' him for all the good work he's done. Once when I was walking home with a couple of my friends I overheard some women calling dad a 'panty dropper', of course a ten year old didn't understand that but those filthy home wreckers kept coming over with baked goods and cards with their numbers on it. Dad never did anything to the women but he would gladly accept their goodies and share them with us and we'd joke around about how desperate they were. Even if mom had her suspicious their love was too strong to be broken.

One day dad said he had to take an extra shift at work. Which meant we get to go to the park, whenever dad had extra shifts we'd go to the park because dad wanted us to have fun even when he's not there. The park was as fun as usual, joy laughter and constant smiles. If only I'd known that, that would be the last time I'd be happy then I would of cherished every moment.

Mom was getting tired so we left early and headed home. When we opened the front door mom's smile went flat and just stared at the scene in front of her.

  There dad was.

With one of those desperate women from the neighborhood sitting on his lap.

Neither of them noticed that we walked in because they were too busy kissing.

  To Be Continued....
