December 2nd.
When Monet woke the next day, she felt out of place. Her small body cocooned by a large double duvet, her legs bare and her torso clothed by an unfamiliar Black Sabbath shirt.
"Morning, Rebel." A raspy voice startled her as she unwrapped herself from the duvet. She looked up towards the door of the strange room, a barely awake Luke leaning against the door frame.
"Why am I in your bed?" Monet asked immediately, she remembered making the deal with Luke and then watching a movie with him in the lounge; she did not however, remember getting into his bed.
Luke stretched slightly and let out a deep breath, "You crashed out on me while watching the movie, so I put you in here and I slept on the sofa." He shrugged.
Monet looked around the room and sighed. "You didn't get much sleep, did you?" She asked, guilt flowing through her mind as she watched Luke yawn and stretch. He shook his head and rubbed a hand over his face.
"Come here, Jimmy." She smiled softly, moving over in the bed and lifting the duvet up, gently patting the empty space next to her. Luke hesitantly walked over to the bed and climbed into it.
Monet laughed slightly and laid back down in the bed, the large white pillow engulfing her head as she laid it on the material. "I don't bite, Luke. You can cuddle me if you want to." Monet giggled as Luke shifted awkwardly before lying down on his back and reaching an arm around Monet.
The small girl rested her head against Luke's bicep as his free arm pulled her closer. Monet blushed and wiggled closer to Luke, her legs getting muddled with his as she placed an arm over his stomach. "You're really something, Rebel." Monet giggled again as Luke moved his free hand to cup her jaw as his other hand gently stroked the back of her hair.
Monet shrugged, "I do try." She looked up at Luke, her eyes widening as she took in how at peace he looked. She gently placed a hand over his that held her jaw and lightly kissed his clothed chest.
"Can I kiss you?" Luke mumbled, his thumb gently brushing over Monet's bottom lip. Monet wanted Luke to kiss her, she wanted to feel his lips against hers. She wanted him but she wasn't going to let herself fall. Not yet.
"I want you to Jimmy, I really do." Monet ignored her the voice that yelled inside her head telling her to stop as she leant up and gently brushed her lips over Luke's.
"That wasn't a kiss!" Luke pouted. Monet blushed and pulled the duvet up over her face, hiding her blushing cheeks with the white material. "You'll get your kiss soon, Jimmy. Just you wait." Luke pouted again and nudged his nose against Monet's.
"What do you want to do today, Rebel?" Luke asked as Monet closed her eyes and hid her face in the crook of Luke's neck. "Sleep, maybe grab some Mexican food then sleep some more." Luke down looked at Monet with a lazy grin, "Let's do it."

Luke had persuaded Monet to get out of bed, with the promise that he would buy her some lunch and let her be in charge of the music on their drive to get food.
"Did you know, the artwork for American Idiot is based upon Chinese communist propaganda?" Monet pondered as she flicked through Luke's small selection of CDs that sat in his car.
Luke briefly looked over at the girl before looking back at the road. "Can't say I did, how do you know that?" Monet smiled to herself as she settled on The Young and The Hopeless by Good Charlotte. "Just one of those things, Jimmy."
Luke shook his head at Monet, "Bet you didn't know that 2000 Light Years Away from their first album is about Billie-Joe's wife!" Luke said proudly as Monet pushed the CD into the player.
"Jimmy, your Green Day knowledge is very weak, any true Green Day fan would know that." She teased. Luke pulled up at the traffic lights and rolled his eyes. "You just know a freakish amount about Green Day." He shrugged as he reached over and poked Monet in the ribs.
Monet squirmed in her seat and slapped Luke's hand away. "Hey! None of that." Monet pouted, causing Luke to laugh and mutter a false apology. "How comes a small girl like you, is in a big city like London alone?" Luke asked absentmindedly as he drummed his fingers on the steering wheel to the beat of The Anthem.
The brown haired girl sighed deeply and pulled her knees into her chest so that her feet were dangling from the car seat. "That, Jimmy, is something you'll find out very soon." Luke huffed, "How soon is soon?" He looked over to Monet just in time to catch her rolling her eyes, "Soon means soon, don't question it."
Once the pair reached their destination, Luke carried Monet on his back once more, "Don't expect this to become a regular thing," Luke huffed as he set Monet down at the door of the diner, stretching his arms above his head so that his shirt rode up ever so slightly.
Monet couldn't help but watch as the white material revealed Luke's toned stomach. "I don't understand how you are not cold, it's December, it's freezing!" Monet frowned as Luke straightened out his t-shirt.
The blonde simply shrugged as he held the door open for the girl, "Cold heart, warm body." Luke wasn't one to share his life story with a girl he had just met but he felt differently about the small brunette girl.

After Luke and Monet had eaten their way through the menu of the diner, Monet was once again being carried by Luke. "Rebel, you're going to have to walk at some point." Luke laughed quietly as Monet lent her head on Luke's shoulder and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I'm super comfortable though!" She mumbled as her eyes fluttered shut. Luke rolled his eyes and smiled to himself as he felt the heat from Monet's body on his back.
"Do you want to go for a walk?" Luke asked as the pair reached his car. Monet shrugged and nuzzled her face into the crook of Luke's neck, "Please, I don't want to go home just yet." Luke nodded compliantly and held Monet's legs tighter.
Luke had began to regret not wearing a jacket after walking for at least half a mile but the heat radiating off of Monet gave him a small sense of warmth and gave him a push to carry on walking.
"You're shivering." Monet yawned, her head remaining on Luke's shoulder, "And don't just shrug it off, take us back to your car, you need to get into the warm." Monet demanded with another yawn.
Luke rolled his eyes and lightly squeezed Monet's calves. "Whatever you say, Rebel."
