=== TALULAH ===
"Talulah, we need to talk."
The Victorian Draco looked left to where the supposed doctor was. Considering what she knew of him, was doctor even the right word to describe him?
"What do you want?" Her answer came out more like a sentence than a question.
Talulah checked her sister. Ch'en was busy talking with Sakura and Mudrock. She eyed Shirou suspiciously. There shouldn't be anything they need from her. She was already captured.
"I need your cooperation."
Hmm? This was interesting. Something to distract her from passing time. What could he want?
"Depends on what you're asking for."
"I need you to hide everything I did on Chernobog."
Talulah blinked. She frowned then stared at Shirou.
"What is this about? I won't agree unless you tell me more."
"There are...parties asking around." Shirou lacked gazes with her. Talulah had stared down the archer a few times before, but this was the first time she had the opportunity to properly study them.
Had they always been bronze? They were much dimmer than she remembered. There was a steely gaze in them that told her the issue was serious.
"You can't ask me something so vague. You did a lot of things that many won't forget. I can't hide everything."
"You are one of the few who know more about me." Aside from Nearl, but Shirou wasn't going to mention that. Ignoring the Fuyuki group and hired assistants, the other witness was far and away from Rhodes Island. Patriot was busy reorganizing the Reunion. The Laterano party wouldn't make that connection, and if they did, approaching the Reunion in its current state was risky. Aboard the landship, Talulah and Nearl had seen more magecraft from him than anyone else. FrostNova knew about his tracing ability which Shirou masked as Originium Arts, but he had that angle covered already. FrostNova wasn't going to spill his secrets. Nearl was also covered.
It was Talulah that needed to be dealt with.
"As far as most people know, I'm supposed to be a doctor. I can treat Oripathy and that's it."
Shirou understood that Kal'tsit and Rhodes Island wouldn't leak information about him. It was in their best interests to keep both sides happy.
"Right, a doctor."
Shirou's blank expression made Talulah grin.
"Can I tell them you cured me of a possession?"
"No."
As funny as that was, Talulah still didn't get anything. She wasn't going to do his request for free.
"What do I get out of this?"
"Less Ch'en visits."
That was cruel. Talulah didn't know if it was cruel that it was what she found comfortable, but at the same time knew Sakura was doing her and Ch'en a favor.
To her credit, Talulah decided not to go along.
"What else can you offer?"
"A way to deal with Kaschey." It wasn't Shirou's specialty, but with help from Sakura it was possible.
Talulah frowned. Kaschey's presence had retreated from vying for her body's control, but it was still there embedded deep inside her. Years of damage couldn't be solved in an instant. Not even Shirou's ability to somehow cut Kaschey out kept him away. He returned after the connection was severed by sinking his consciousness back through the holes he made in her mindscape. Whether she liked it or not, Kaschey would remain.
