=== SHIROU ===

Shirou lowered another traced blade into the ground.

It wasn't like the many noble phantasms contained in his reality marble. It was one of the handcrafted ones made with Rin. They were prepared as a set for Sakura's sealing array. The current seal was temporary until they could board Rhodes Island and properly set up for the whole ritual.

Once the tenth sword connected the final section, the decagram array glowed blue.

Some distance away, a number of Rhodes Island operators watched the two of them. It must've been something rare, because a good number of them were incredibly invested while Rin and Shirou worked around an unconscious Sakura.

It definitely looked suspicious.

Shirou, the ever faithful slave to Tohsaka that he is, was creating blades out of thin air and arranging them around a sealing array drawn out of what looked like blood.

It didn't just look like blood. It was blood. Rin pulled it out of her spatial storage. It was a complex spell her master Zelretch taught her. Something about folding layers of space together akin to paper origami to create a dense area for storage out of sight.

Yeah...Shirou wasn't the expert on it. Rin had to hammer the spell into him until he memorized it for his sake.

About ten minutes later, they were done. The glowing blue array dulled and they were left with an unconscious Sakura that was a little bit safer than hours earlier.

"Shirou, you have a guest."

Shirou turned to the newest member of their group. It was still hard to believe it was her. Could you blame him? Her atmosphere was different. The appearance changed a little, but those two combined could not stop the familiar look the heroic spirit gave when she was guarding them- just like how she protected him back when he first summoned her.

Arturia Pendragon- Saber- stood several meters away while they worked.

"Guest?"

"You were too focused on performing thaumaturgy to notice." Saber looked sideways at the new arrival.

A good distance away from her, a similarly blonde knight was present. Saber eyed the two familiar weapons she carried, weapons her Knights of the Round wielded.

Excalibur Galatine and Lord Camelot.

"Ah- Nearl?" Shirou raised his voice. The girl perked up, switching her attention from monitoring Saber to answering Shirou.

"We need to talk. It's about the civilians." Nearl brought up. Kal'tsit brought up the topic earlier during their conversation. The two of them were the best representatives for the civilians captured during the invasion. They weren't civilians, but each of them had done considerable assistance.

Considerable was understating it. Nearl rescued several prisoner camps. The Shieldguards and Yeti Squadron members faced resistance from Talulah's loyalists and her appearance helped them break the deadlock. Meanwhile, Shirou was famous for cooking and treating the prisoners during the last few weeks.

Shirou looked at Rin. She already knew what he was requesting.

"Go ahead. I'll watch over Sakura."

"Thank you Rin."

Nearl gestured for Shirou to follow her. They walked a bit ways off from the rest. It was very late in the night, probably a few hours until morning. She stopped at the edge of the Rhodes Island camp where the light ended. There were a few campfires scattered around to warm the operators from the night's cold. The area they stopped at was at the limit of their light's range, a far enough distance from the rest.
