Chapter 7

Lila's POV:

WHAT?!? I screamed over the phone. Zayn of all people just had to come. Don't get me wrong i lov..i mean like Zayn but im now dating Josh and that's just awkward. Josh and Zayn have been really distant recently which is unlike them since their bestfriends. I can't stay mad at any of the girls. But we were still going to Zayn's party. "Hello???" Lilly said from the other side of the phone. "Ugh Ok fine i'll just meet you there in 10 k?"i said with a sigh. "K bye!" Lilly cheerfully said. She always found the brightside to every situation. I made my way upstairs to my room to get my purse. As i was making my way downstairs i tripped over something fluffy. What was that? "Lila be careful you tripped over jelly bean! He's only a kitten you could of killed him!"my little sister Stef screamed. She carefully picked the little orange kitten up. Thankfully he was ok. "Oh and im fine by the way Stef! Thanks for asking!" I sarcastically said. She ignorede and slammed the door to her room with little jelly bean in her hand. God she was a brat. Oh yeah im gonna be late.

I quickly got to my car and drove off to the mall. I parked the car and made my way to the main entrance i walked through people until reaching the food court. Lilly quickly saw me and waved her hands up for me to spot her. I made my way towards the table she was sitting at. "Hey!" She said as she hugged me. Niall was behind her and gave me a quick hug and a "Hi". Zayn was next. Awkwardness here i come. "Hey Lila" Zayn said as he stood up from his seat. He leaned in for a hug. As i hugged him i felt fireworks. It was weird because i felt sparks with Josh and fireworks with Zayn. He buried his face in my shouldet. He tgen quickly pulled away. "Umm sorry about that" he apologized. "No its ok my dad used to give me hugs like that before he passed away. I've been needing one" i said. "Ohk!" Lilly said trying to break the awkward silence. "Niall and Zayn can yall please go get us some yummy pretzels?" Lilly asked. "Sure" Niall and Zayn said in unison. They soon walked away and made themselves at the back of the line. "Well that wasn't awkward at all" Lilly sarcastically said as the boys left and we were left by ourselves. "Aha! Not at all" i sarcastically answered back. We both laughed for a while. "Hey umm Lilly what im about to tell you just stays in between us two ok?" I seriously stated. "Of course Lila that's what are bestfriends are for!" Lilly reassured me.

Zayn's POV:

We made our order and just waited. "Here our your drinks, your pretzels will take a while though" the lady politely told us. "Hey Zayn male your way to the table with the drinks and i'll wait here for the pretzels" Niall said. "Yeah sure" i said while taking the drinks. As i made myself to the table i saw Lila and Lilly talking. I didn't want to interrupt or anything but eavesdropping isn't exactly interrupting right? I hid behind a trash can. "Hey umm Lilly what i tell you just stays in between us two ok?" Lila asked Lilly. "Of course!" Lilly reassured her. "Ohk its just that whenever im with Josh and he huggs me and kisses me i feel sparks" she said. I simply rolled my eyes. Josh was a lucky guy. "But.." She continued. "But when Zayn hugged me a while back i felt fireworks and everytime im around him i get so nervous and" she said. " RETARD MODE IS ON" she said in a robot voice. Wow. I couldn't believe what Lila had just said. She felt fireworks when she was near me. I felt a huge smile on my face. I got behind of the trashcan and made myself back to the table casually. "Hey ladies" i said with a cheeky grin. Niall came from behind me with the pretzels. "Here ya go" he said while handing the pretzels to Lila and Lilly. I sat across Lila. I could feel how nervous she was by just shooting small glances at her. Just another thing to add to my list of what i liked about her. The girls quickly finished their pretzels and me and Niall our drinks. "Now who's up for some shopping?!!!" Lilly cheerfully said. "We are!" we all shouted in unison.

We went to literally every store in the mall with these girls. I could certanly tell shopping was one of their best hobbies. "Ohk this is the last store and we HAVE to find something here since we didn't like anything else in the other stores" Lilly stated as we made ourselves to Forever 21. They tried several outfits until they found one. But they wouldn't let us see them. Guess Lila Stewat was yet to surprise me again...
