Chapter 23: Accidents (Part 2)

Lila's POV:

I don't know what was happening in the world around me.

"The survivors are.....

Miranda,and....Josh.

I instantly felt relieved yet hurt. Jace wasn't with us anymore.

"Jace instantly died" the doctor informed us.

I screamed in horror. Jace has..had been one of my good friends and..now he was gone. This couldn't be happening. Louis ran up to me and tried comforting me but that wouldn't help. I would never get my friend back....

"Can i go check on Miranda?" Zayn asked the doctor.

"Yes, but she's still asleep she might wake up any minute now and you might be lucky if you go now" the doctor told Zayn as he pointed in the direction of the room Miranda was in. Zayn nodded and ran to the room.

"May i go see Josh?" i asked the doctor.

"Yes, he has some bruises but nothing major. Although he wouldn't stop saying Lila throughout the operation. He's in the room next to Miranda's" the doctor said before putting his glasses on and heading into his office.

I faintly smiled and walked into Josh's room. I gently knocked on the door before entering.

He was laying on the bed with bruises all over his body and he had a cast on his right leg. I slowly walked up to him and kissed his forehead. His eyes started fluttering and his eyes were soon opened.

"True love's kiss always brakes the sleeping beauty from its rest" Josh smiled while looking up to me.

"Your such a turd you know that? and im glad you're ok" i smiled.

"Aha. So are Jace and Miranda ok?" Josh asked now more serious.

I felt tears coming out of my eyes.

Josh tried to sit up but couldn't.

"What's wrong Lila?" Josh asked me.

"Miranda is ok b-but Jace i-is ....dead" i managed to say.

"Oh no" Josh cried disbelief.

I cried into his bruised chest.

"I don't know what to say Lila...." Josh said hugging me.

"i don't either. I would of never imagined this at all" i said while wiping my tears.

Zayn's POV:

My Miranda was ok. I felt so much stress lift out of my shoulders. Everyone still in shock because of Jace's tragic....... death.

We went and sat in the hospital cafe.

"Zayn i can't believe he....he just died" Miranda said while hugging me.

"I can't believe this either but i feel relieved i didn't lose you" i said while pecking her lips.

"Ohh i need to call my parents and tell them in ok" Miranda said while searching for her phone.

She finally found it in her purse.

I kinda walked away so she could have her privacy with her parents.

I went to get something to drink. I was reaching out to get the last apple juice but someone snatched it before i could. I looked up to see Josh.

"Ohh hey are you feeling better?" i asked Josh awkwardly. I haven't talked to him in ages.

"Im fine. Im just shocked with everything that has happened" Josh said while taking a sip of his apple juice. He had a cast on his right leg, but he could still move around pretty well.
