Chapter 26: I have to get her back

Josh's POV:

Where is she? I need to talk to her and at least manage to be friends. I can't stand not talking to her or seeing her smile everyday. What was i thinking? How can i be so stupid! I can never control my emotions when seeing Zayn and Lila together! I just can't. Its some kind of jealousy wave that comes over and i just can't control it.

I went down the elevator and to the lobby. Ugh she isn't here either. I thought to myself as i looked around for her. But i did see Sierra. She must know where Lila is. I walked up to her.

"Umm have you seen Lila around? I really need to talk to her" i stated.

"I honestly don't know and i don't think she would like to talk to you anyway" Sierra rolled her eyes.

"What do i do wrong all the time? Its just everything Zayn does is perfect right?!" i sighed loudly.

"Keep your voice down and Zayn isn't perfect and neither are you. In fact nobody's perfect. But you really messed up Josh. How do you think you make Lila feel when you are always arguing with Zayn? The poor thing doesn't remember much and your arguments don't make it any easier" Sierra adviced.

"I know and i hate myself for that. But can you please put yourself in my shoes? How do you think it would make you feel if you love Liam and he loves someone else too other than you? Its not easy Sierra. In fact its complicated. I love Lila and i hate hurting her. I just want her to be happy with me and i don't want anyone to come in between us".

"Look Josh i know you're in a really though spot. And you have all the qualities Lila likes in a guy. And she loves you i know she does. But somehow she's starting to remember Zayn and she's starting to develop feeling for him.....again. If you really love Lila you have to get her back, but without hurting anyone throughout it" Sierra said as she placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks" i smiled.

"Sierra!!! There you are love! Lets go get some icecream!" Liam said cheerfully while coming up to us and taking Sierra away on a piggy back ride. Sierra was laughing uncontrollably.They really were perfect together.

That's the kind of relationship i wanted with Lila.

After days i finally saw those beautiful brown eyes again. Lila walked in holding hands....with Zayn.

Were they together now or something?! No Josh control yourself. Just be polite and go talk to her.

I made my way towards Zayn and Lila. He was constantly whispering things in her ear causing her to giggle. Not to long ago i was the reason for that smile ...

"Umm hey Lila" i said nervously with my hands in my pockets.

"Hey Josh" she faintly smiled.

"Can we maybe talk?" i asked her. A part of me knew she was gonna say no but i was wrong.

"Sure" she said. Zayn smiled and pecked her cheek before leaving and talking to Niall.

"So what do you wanna talk about?" she asked me somewhat curious. She started walking towards the hotel garden. I struggled to follow her. She's a fast walker.

"Us" i mumbled.

She stopped and looked at her feet.

"Look Josh i know we have had our though times but i don't know if i could deal with you arguing with Zayn 24/7" she began.

"Are you and Zayn together?" i interrupted her.

"I don't know. But im not really looking for a relationship right now. I just want to take a break. And just think ..and that's something i do a lot nowadays. Josh i love you and you know that too. But i just want to take a break for a while. Ya know?" she smiled.
