Chapter 51 ⚜ The Distance

In Mystic Falls, I meet Elijah at Jonas's and Luka's apartment "I came"

Elijah looks through the window and turns to me "What happened to your head?" He tries to touch my bandage.

I take a step back "Nothing"

"Are you afraid of me?"

"You killed so many people I mean Vampires in a brutal way" I laugh sarcastically "Why should I be afraid?"

"Always remember that we do things that we are forced to do"

"Elijah, there is no need for this"

"You will leave the mansion and move with me to another place" 

Before I speak and say something. 

Jonas rejoins us and laid out all of Elena's trinkets that he stole from her bedroom on a table. Jonas looks at me annoyed so I roll my eyes. 

Elijah sits across from me "So how exactly does this spell work?"

"Give me your hand" I said having a silver knife in my hand. Elijah extends his palm facing up and I slice it open with the blade "Place it here" Elijah places his bloody palm face down on the picture of Elena in her cheerleading uniform "Now, take my hand" I extend my hand to Elijah who takes it "Close your eyes. Relax your mind. And look for her" 

Elijah shuts his eyes. 

I follow suit and begin chanting a spell in Latin and I close my eyes. 

We see Elena gazing out a window in Slater's house. Suddenly, she sees Elijah's reflection walking toward her in the window. Elena gasps and turns around. She sees no one else in the room with her. Confused, she turns back and looks at the window and back into the room again. Elijah and my eyes fly open.

Jonas asks "You saw her, didn't you?"

Elijah says "I know exactly where she is"

I share annoyed look with Jonas, I don't know why this man-hating me and I don't know him.

In Slater's apartment, Suddenly, the front doors burst open and three men walk into the apartment. Damon turns his head to look at them as Rose and Elena stand up. 

Cody says "We're here to meet the doppelgänger"

Elena says "Thank you for coming" Elena attempts to walk towards them, but Damon pushes her back.

Damon whispers to Elena "I will break your arm" He looks at Cody "There's nothing here for you"

The man in the back suddenly drops to the floor, dead. Elijah and I stand behind him. The other two vampires look back at us. Elijah's vamp-speeds towards them looking from one to the other. Rose gasps and vamp-speeds out of the apartment.

Elijah looks over at Elena and Damon.

Damon is surprised "I killed you. You were dead"

Elijah says "For centuries now"

I give Damon a look "We have to make sure"

Elijah looks back at Cody "Who are you?"

Cody asks "Who are you?"

Elijah says "I'm Elijah"

I say "And I'm Lydia"

Cody says "We were gonna bring her to you. For Klaus. She's the doppelgänger. I don't know how she exists, but she does. Klaus will want to see her"

Elijah asks "Does anyone else know that you're here?"

"No"

"Well, then, you have been incredibly helpful" Elijah plunges his arm's into the two vampires' chests.
