Dorm hallways became crowded again.
The familiar rhythm of academy life returned almost overnight.
Students moved between buildings carrying bags, tablets, training equipment, and enough caffeine to qualify as emergency medical supplies.
For the first time, the former second-years walked through campus as third-years.
The final year.
Strangely enough, that realization hit some harder than others.
Not because graduation was immediately approaching.
But because it suddenly felt real.
Inside Classroom 3-1, students gradually settled into their seats.
Some were excited.
Some nervous.
Others were still waking up.
Haruto belonged firmly in the third category.
He sat beside Laura, staring into the middle distance with the expression of a man who had lost an argument against reality itself.
Laura glanced at him.
"You slept."
"Unfortunately."
"You slept eight hours."
"Still unfortunate."
Before she could respond—
The classroom door opened.
Instant silence.
Several students immediately straightened.
A few newcomers looked confused.
Then they saw who entered.
And immediately understood.
Chifuyu Orimura.
The legendary pilot herself walked into the room carrying a stack of documents.
The students who had already experienced her classes simply nodded.
The others looked somewhere between impressed and terrified.
Chifuyu placed the documents on the desk.
