The red velvet curtain had just hit the floor, even from the other side the audience were still clapping and cheering away. They had just finished performing Spectacular Spectacular and it was spectacular, even with the little hiccup towards the end, the show had been a hit. The whole cast and production team had huge smiles plastered onto their faces, there were people slapping each others backs and choruses of congratulations were buzzing around the place.

Satine was in Christians arms, she wanted to stay there forever. Ever since she had met Christian and mistaken him for the Duke she had loved him. She was so glad they had met each other, they could now be together, no one was going to come between them again. Satine, for the first time in her life, was happy. She loved Christian with all her heart. He was her soul mate. Christian wiped Satine's eyes and planted a tender kiss onto her forehead. "I love you" He spoke.

"I love you too Christian" Satine smiled back. Christian pulled Satine back into his embrace and they hugged again.

"Stand by for curtain call!" The curtain puller announced.

"Christian, come here, I need to talk to you." Toulouse asked from the other side of the stage.

"Alright, I won't be long." He said to Satine. He gave her another quick hug before walking over to Toulouse.

Satine decided to get herself ready for curtain call. She wiped her face over, being careful not to smudge anymore of her makeup, and smoothed her hair, she then sighed and sniffed a little before composing herself once more.

Nini then walked over and stood very timidly next to Satine "Oh Satine, I am so happy for you. You finally got your happy ending! Oh yeah and by the way I am sorry." She had a look of remorse on her face. She tried to walk away quickly after saying this but Satine didn't let her.

"Sorry? Sorry for what?" Satine was confused. What had happened? Why did Nini need to be sorry? She hadn't done anything... Had she?

"Well..." She then began to tell Satine how she was the one who told the Duke about her secret love affair with Christian. She tried to explain that she did it because she was jealous. After all Satine was the top courtesan who was also having it off with the writer. But before she could even mutter a single word to explain why she did it Satine had exploded at her.

"You what?! How could you do that?! Do you know what you put me through! I thought I could trust you but it turns out you can't trust anyone here! I hate you! You are a low life who only gets around by destroying other people's happiness. Never, and I mean never talk to me again!" Satine was on the verge of exploding with rage. She started to walk towards Nini. Nini was getting scared she had never seen Satine this angry before. She started to back away as Satine was still advancing towards her. Then Satine felt someone hold her arm.

"Satine, what's going on?" It was Christian.

"Her!" Satine screamed. A few people around them now were beginning to look at Satine and Nini. Satine tried to get out of Christians grip. She wanted to slap her, to kick her, to just cause her pain as she had done to her. She thought everyone at the Rouge were supposed to stick together, after all they had no where else to go. They were supposed to be family! What did they have in life? They were the people of the under world. Nini had snapped what little happiness she had managed to find at the Rouge.

Christian could feel Satine trying to loosen his grip on her but he held on tight "Satine, what did she..." But before he could finish and find out, the curtain caller announced again.

"Five seconds everyone, stand by." Christian let go of Satine's wrist and held her hand, he then squeezed it as if to say everything will be alright. Everyone took there places around the stage and waited for the curtains to open. Satine didn't want to step out there she wanted to cause pain to Nini!

"...Three, Two, One." The curtains were opened and the crowd came into view. It was a weird sight, no one was sitting down everyone was up, jumping and cheering. Then Harold took to the middle of the stage and spoke.

"Thank you everyone for coming to the first ever Moulin Rouge production of Spectacular Spectacular. A big thank you to all of the cast and especially to our very own Sparkling Diamond, Miss Satine May! Also to Mr Christian Winters, the writer who made all of this production possible." Harold then bowed and the audience went wild again.

Christian looks at Satine and smiled. He then stoped smiling and looked deep into Satine's crystal blue eyes. "Did I ever tell you?" Christian whispered to Satine.

"Tell me what?" Satine said, not fully concentrating.

"That..." He carried on staring into her deep blue eyes. He then let go of her hand and brought them up to her face. He graciously cupped her face in his hands and brought his lips up to her. As soon as there lips met they passionately kissed.

Satine's anger and annoyance just slipped away with that kiss. Eventually they parted, everyone around them had stopped and was staring open mouthed. Satine blushed a deep red, she had forgotten that they were on stage in front of an audience, "... That I love you!" Christian continued as if they had not kissed.

Satine let out a small sigh and then a giggle "I love you too Christian." She then slowly put her hand back into his. She knew that whatever they came up against, what ever life would throw at them Satine would always feel loved and safe in Christians hold. They could over come anything.
