He had to go get help, he couldn't leave her like this. Christian lifted her up and gently laid her across the bed, quickly planting a kiss on her foreheard before running out the room trying to find someone. Anyone.

"Hello? Can someone help me?!" Who was he going to find at this hour of the morning? Who do I go too? He stopped to think. I could go to Toulouse, but he will be asleep in bed... What about Zidler? I could try his office. He ran as fast as he could down the stairs and out the front door. He then bolted across the path into the Moulin Rouge and ran up the stairs that led to Zidler's office. He stopped just outside the door and hammered on it. "Zidler?!" He shouted. There was a grumble from inside, obviously someone was in there. He opened the door and ran in. Zidler was asleep with his head down on his desk, he had obviously been doing someone work.

Christian walked over to him and began to shake him violently. He had wasted enough time as it was running over here. "Zidler! Wake up!" He wasn't waking. What was he going to do? He scanned the room looking for something that might help and then he saw it. A small glass of water on his desk. He picked it up and threw it over Zidler's face. Zidler woke with a start. "What is going on?" He asked a little daized. "Christian what are you doing here? Do you know what time it is?!" He asked.

"Yes I do and I know it is late but it's Satine!" He cried. Upon hearing this he jumped up from his seat and walked out of his office.

"Why what's wrong?" He asked, obviously as concerned as he was about Satine.

"I don't know, she just fell unconcious. Before that she was stood up and was crying. What do I do? I'm scared for her Zidler!" Christian couldn't help but tell him how he was scared for her because he was.

"Okay Christian now go back to Satine and just keep her in comfort. I'll go and fetch the doctor." Harold said. But before leaving to go fetch the doctor, he looked at Christian and put a hand on his shoulder "She'll be alright Christian. It's going to be fine." With that he walked off down the corridor and into a room right at the end.

Knowing that he should get back to Satine as quickly as he could he took to leaping down the steps and he then hurtled back through the Moulin doors and across the path which led to his door. He ran up the stairs and straight into his room. Satine was beginning to stir a little, she was trying to sit up.

Christian ran to her side and pushed her gently, as not to hurt her, back down onto the bed. "Shh! I am here Satine, Harold has gone to get the doctor. Don't worry you're going to be okay. Shh!" He said. He placed his hand onto her face and wiped her hair out of her eyes. She felt really hot. He then grabbed a cloth from the side and ran it under some cold water from the bathroom tap. He returned to Satine's side and placed the rag onto her forehead, she was burning up still.

Satine coughed a little meek cough but this was enough to bring the slightest bit of blood to the corner of her mouth. Christian saw the blood and wiped it away, this was breaking his heart. Satine was ill he knew that. She was even dying, but she wouldn't die! He wasn't going to let her! How would he cope without her by his side? He wouldn't be able to. A tear rolled down his face and soon he was crying, where was Harold and the Doctor? They were loosing precious time! He wiped his eyes and returned his gaze back to Satine. She was still sweating and she looked like she was in a lot of pain. She was chalk white and very cold (yet still burning hot). He picked up the blanket that was on there bed and placed it over her. "Please be okay" He whispered. "Please... Please... Please don't die on me Satine. I love you." He kept on whispering this over and over again.

Suddenly the handle of the door was turning and Harold walked in with the doctor just a few steps behind him. "Here she is doctor." Harold spoke. The doctor walked over to the bed and sat on the other side of Satine, he then took hold of his bag delved inside and took out a pair of stethoscopes which he placed against Satine's chest. He then put the other end of them into his ears and listened. Christian looked at him, trying to decide if it ws good or bad but he couldn't tell. The doctor then took the stethoscopes away from her chest and put of his ears before placing them back into his bag. He then gave a quick glance at Harold before moving up to her face. "Satine?" He said. "Satine, can you hear me?" He asked. Satine gave a little murmur. "Satine, come on Satine. I need to tell you something." The doctor tried to coax her back. "Hmm... Wait" He delved straight into his bag and came back out with a little silver case. He opened the case and took out some brown powder that was inside it. He then put it near Satine's nose. Slowly she began to wake up.

"Huh? What... What's happening? Why are you two here?" She asked looking from the doctor to Zidler.

"Oh Satine!" Christian screamed hugging her.

"Ow! Christian wait!" She said. Christian jumped off her and stopped hugging her.

"What is it? Did I hurt you? Oh I'm sorry!" Christian began.

"No you didn't hurt me, the doctor did." She gave a tiny giggle before Christian looked at the doctor just as he was pulling a needle out of her arm.

"This should help for now. Now Satine, you need some rest. Do you understand me?" He gave her a very stern look.

"Don't worry doctor" Said Harold. "I'll make sure Satine rests. Thank you." He said before leading the doctor to the door.

"Yes, well you're welcome. Christian if you wouldn't mind coming to see me in the morning, I'll go over Satine's medicine intake with you. Nighty Night then." He instructed before going out of the door and disappearing.

"Will you be alright now Satine?" Zidler asked.

"Yes I will, thank you Harold."

"You're welcome poppet. Ta taa." He then walked out, just like the doctor, but he closed the door behind him.

Satine was now sat up on the bed and Christian was sat next to her. "Are you okay Satine?" He asked. He was still very worried about her she was still looking peaky.

"Yes, I feel better now. I'm sorry..." She said, again.

"Yes you said that before. What are you sorry about? You don't have to be sorry about anything Satine." He was always confused when she said sorry.

"Oh it doesn't matter. Now I am going to do as the doctor said and get some sleep." She got up off the bed and got straight back in under the covers. "Goodnight Christian." She said before nestling into her pillow.

"Goodnight Satine." Christian said. He then laid down beside her. Christian didn't go to sleep though, he stayed awake for hours on end wondering about what Satine could of meant when she apologised. Also he wanted to stay awake incase anything happened to her, but eventually as the night wore on and the morning came he fell asleep, still dressed in his suit, next to Satine.
