Satine made her way back up to her room. When she opened the door she saw Christian asleep on the bed. He looked so peaceful, he must of been tired as he was still fully dressed. Satine shook him gently and Christian opened his eyes. "Christian you fell asleep, you need to get changed sweetie. Come on." He got up sleepily and fifteen seconds later he was changed and back to sleep on the bed. Satine changed herself before slipping inside beside him and falling asleep, still clutching the picture in her hand.

Satine was in the rehearsal hall. Harold, Marie, Toulouse and Christian were stood there. They all had disappointed expressions on there faces. "Christian, what's wrong?" He turned his back on her. She didn't know what was wrong. She walked up to Marie. "Marie? What happened?" She then turned her back on Satine. As soon as she asked Toulouse he turned his back. "Harold?" She said, in a small meek voice. "What is going on?" She was very confused. Harold turned his back, it was like she didn't exist. A chair suddenly appeared and all of a sudden Satine feel tired, she sat down on the chair. As soon as she had sat down all the figures turned in on her.

"How dare you?" Toulouse said.

"I thought you was better than this." Marie chipped in.

"I don't know where I went wrong." Harold spoke.

Christian didn't even say anything he just sighed. Satine didn't understand what was going on. Where they talking to her? Suddenly a rope came out of the arms of the chair and strapped themselves around Satine's wrist. She couldn't move. Then a voice. The same voice from her other nightmares. "Satine, this is what's going to happen! No one loves you. No one cares about you. You're worthless. Just a courtesan who sells herself. What life is that for your baby? A disappointment." Satine looked up at Marie, Toulouse, Harold and Christian hoping to see what the person was going on about but now they had no expression on there face. Blank. Nothing.

Satine tried to wriggle free but she couldn't. The more she struggled the more the ropes tightened. She screamed. Why was this happening to her. Satine screamed again and this time the four figures started to walk slowly away. Even though they weren't speaking to her Satine wanted them to stay! She could feel tears coming, they stung like she had open wounds all over her face. She screamed again. "Now there is no need for that is there?" She felt a hand on her shoulder. The grip was tightening.

"Who are you?" She asked, he voice shaking with fear.

"Oh come on Satine, you know who I am" He felt the hand tracing her arm up and down. She was feeling very uncomfortable, she couldn't go anywhere, she was trapped.

"Get away from me!"

The voice tutted. "Now now, where are your manners?" It said in a very undermining tone.

"Leave me alone! I want to go! Let me go!" Satine could feel the tears coming down stronger now!

Satine could feel a piece of cloth going over her eyes. "What are you doing?"

She tried to punch, kick, bite, what ever was doing this to her. She hated this. She couldn't see.

"Let me go!" She screamed for a final time before she woke up. She was in her bedroom, she was tangled up in her quilt. Christian was sat on the balcony outside.

"Christian?" She was hoping she had actually woken up and she wasn't still in a dream.

"Uh huh?" Christian answered. Satine got out of bed and walked over to Christian, his face was wet and red.

"What wrong?" She asked. She hardly ever saw Christian as upset as this.

"Nothing I'm fine." He grabbed Satine by the hand and put her on his lap, he then rested one hand on her stomach and another around her waist. She smiled.

"Christian, what is wrong?" Christian knew there was no point in lying to her.

"I'm just worried that's all!"

"Worried? About what?" Christian sighed and started to rub his hand along Satine's stomach, she felt the baby move a little.

"About you. And the baby. After your nightmare today I started to worry then you was having another nightmare just now. It seems that you cannot have a proper sleep without having a nightmare. What was this one about?"

Satine put a hand on top of his hand that was around her stomach. They were a family, together. "There was the voice, the one that keeps appearing in all my nightmares. It's the same voice I heard at the theatre, I don't know who it is though."

"What voice at the theatre?" He asked.

"I didn't want to tell you about it because I didn't want you to worry. I have been hearing this voice in my nightmares ever since I heard it behind me in the theatre. I don't know who it was because when I was going to turn around and see you came back from the toilet and we left. Any ways, it's been in my nightmares, it's like it's controlling them. Most of my nightmares revolve around the voice and him making me think sinister things. This time it made me think that no one around me loved me and that no one was proud of me and that I was just a cheap dirty woman who sold herself for money."

Christian looked at Satine. "Well you aren't a cheap dirty woman, you're a wonderful person who was in an unfortunate situation but now you have loving people around you and a little bundle of joy inside you. I love you, we both love you!" Satine smiled as Christian pressed her hand onto her stomach, not to hard, gently.

"I love you Christian. I promise you I'll be fine, I know it." Satine smiled and Christian could tell this was a genuine smile and not a fake one that she sometimes gave. He kissed her and they curled up together soon falling asleep.
