18. Heaven Help Us

After Neon and I talked for a little more, everyone came back.

"Find any Dracs?" I asked standing up trying to look like I wasn't crying.

Party looked distressed. His face had pain written all over it. Ghoul sighed and Adrenaline just sat on the couch, emotionless.

"What happened?" Neon asked worried.

"Two more killjoys went missing." Star said walking into the other room. He usually wanted to be alone when something bad happened.

"I'll go talk to him." Kobra said following star.

"That's not it." Ghoul said standing still near the door.

"Ghoul you're  scaring me." I said.

Adrenaline spoke up grimly. "We found two killjoys."

Isn't that good?  I Ghoul a look and he said, "We found what was left of them."

"Oh god." Adrenaline said running into her room and slamming the door.

"Ghoul if you don't tell me what happened I swear I will punch you in front of your sister!" Neon yelled.

I was about to go after Adrenaline. But Party grabbed me by the shoulder to stop me.

"She needs to be alone."

Ghoul and Party took a seat on the couch by Neon. I was standing up by them.

"We found two brutally disfigured bodies...They looked like they were tortured and then burned alive. We tried to get Adrenaline out of their fast but it was too late...she saw the bodies."
Party said.

Neon and I were speechless.

"We got Dr. D to come to us and he said that they were two killjoys that were only 13and 16. It was this girl named Cherry and this guy named Spark."

"I think I've heard of them." I said sadly.

I felt sick to my stomach. A 13 year old?

"Dr. D said from looking at them they must have been tortured for hours because they had all these cuts and wounds. Then they were burnt alive. The bodies though we're still recognizable which leads me to believe that it was a message from Korse."

"Oh god." I said sitting on the ground.

I felt like I was gonna puke. My face was curled in disgust. I hated Korse. I hate BL/ind. I will not stop trying to end it. I would die trying.

"So adrenaline saw that." Neon asked quietly turning to look at Party.

"I'm sorry we tried to get her out of there."

FLASHBACK IN PARTY POV

"Ok no Dracs yet." I said to Ghoul who was driving. Star, Kobra, and Adrenaline were all in the back.

"Wait I see something over there!" Adrenaline said Pointing towards this object in the distance.

Ghoul started driving over to it and we parked at a safe distance. Enough to where we could see it but it was enough room to get away.

We all got out of the car. Ghoul and I went first and Kobra and Star stayed towards the back with Adrenaline.

As we got closer I could finally make out what it was. The smell made my stomach churn.

It was two bodies that were badly mutilated. They both had horrible burns all over and deep cuts on there arms and thighs.

"Get Adrenaline out of here!" I screamed.
