19. Short fluff-ish chapter

I woke up with adrenaline pressed up against me. It was one of the best ways I could be woken up. I noticed that she was still sound asleep.

Her heartbeat was even and so was her breathing. She was relaxed. It made me feel great knowing that she was at peace.

I continued to just lay there and watch her sleep and listen to her rhythmic heart beat until she finally opened her eyes.

"Good morning." I said smiling at her.

"Hey baby." She said softly. She smiled back.

"Sleep good?"

"Actually yes." She said.

We both laid there our bodies pressed up against each other's. After a while we both got up and walked out to the kitchen.

"Good morning you two!" Neon shouted as perky as normal.

"I got breakfast right here!" She held up a box of cereal.

"No fucking way!" I shouted. Adrenaline's face light up like a kid opening up Christmas presents.

We never had cereal. It was super rare in the zones.

Adrenaline and I sat down and started eating the cereal. It was plain corn flakes but it tasted like a gourmet meal compared to power pup.

"Thank you so much Neon!" Adrenaline said stuffing her face.

We devoured the cereal in no time. After we were done I remembered that we were supposed to hang out with Garden and Auto today. I don't want Auto to feel like he has to hang out with us. After all he just lost both of his siblings. They just went missing Yesterday too.

There was a knock on the door. Speak of the devil.

Neon went over and let Garden and Auto in.

"Hey!" Adrenaline said running over to them and giving each a hug.

"Hello." I said taking another bite of my last bowl of cereal.

"Nice to see you too!" Auto joked.

I got up I don't do hugs so I just waved. They weren't offended because they know I don't hug.

"Auto are you sure you want to hang out? It's fine if you don't." I said quietly to him.

"No It's fine! I love hanging out with you guys!" He said smiling.

I could tell he was faking a smile. I offered to hug him as an test.

He accepted and hugged me.

He passed the test.I couldn't smell an alcohol.

"Should I be worried are you trying to get with my man?" Garden joked.

Auto and I both faked a laugh. I think he knew what I was trying to do. But he passed so we good.

"Neon we are heading out!" Adrenaline shouted and we walked out the door.

We all hopped in Autos  car and he drove us to the Canteen.

We didn't do anything too interesting. None of us drank, none of us fought or anything, nothing too interesting.

"Hey I want you guys to know that you guys can borrow our hideout tonight." Garden winked at us.

Adrenaline blushed and looked down. She was pretty uncomfortable. I don't know what to feel anymore. After Adrenaline said no to getting married things were still pretty awkward.

"We are going to stay with my friends tonight." Garden said. "They haven't seen us in a while."

"So if you want..." Auto said picking up on the vibes we were giving off.

I looked at Adrenaline and she said.

"I...uh....yeah that will be great!"

"Just tell Neon that we will be there and it's game night again.

This night was going to be really awkward.

"Be back in the morning!" Garden shouted as the dropped us off at their hideout.

We walked in and both sat on the couch and it was silent for a minute before I spoke.

"We don't have to, if you don't want."

Adrenaline didn't respond so I took that as it was not happening. I'm not gonna lie I was disappointed but it's not only my decision.

"Ok. You can have the bed I'll take the couch."

Out of no where adrenaline kissed me.

"I want to."

We continued kissing and you can guess what happened after that.

"I love you." I said laying next to Adrenaline.

"I love you too!" She said giving me another kiss. Her naked body was being covered by the blanket.

Man I loved her.
